@ZombieGenesis I just watched the first Nightmare, too. He was in so many things.
-
I just watched him Enter the Dragon, and am about to watch the original Black Christmas.

Wilford Brimley, not COVID-19? Quick glance of the obituary indicates kidney-something-or-other.
-
@Jennkryst Might have been diabetes related. It can really mess your kidneys up unfortunately.

That was my guess, but I didn't want to say anything because I was afraid it would set off some "diabeetus" jokes.
-
@GreenFlashlight I'm the only one who is that much of an asshole, and I thought about it earlier. Then I figured people would tell me it wasn't cool.
RIP Mr. Brimley. You were great in The Thing.

I came this | | close to posting a Diabeetus gif, but decided not to. ;.;

I also barely held off on posting a diabeetus gif in response.

Same. I mean, it runs in my family. It killed one of my cousins when he was 28. And still, my immediate mental response was "DIABEETUS."
I'm not sure if we're all horrible people for that reaction or excellent people for managing to censor it.
-
As someone who struggles with her diabeetus - I wanted to post the gif.

That show sadly never had a chance. It was just getting started and then BOOM...war. It looked like it could have had legs, too.

This makes me sad. I even still have vinyl for Quiet Riot.

It is a sad day for music.
