More, I prefer to wait a couple of years for the expansion/the DLCs too. Game becomes way cheaper by then, and most importantly all the fucking bugs are gone.
I do this by default now; I have too many games to play and complete. I'm still in Dragon Age: Inquisition, for fuck's sake, but mostly because I had The Witcher 3, which is a hellofalot better.

Witcher III is hard to stop playing for me. Far Cry Primal, and 7 Days to Die as well. Now Skyrim is coming back? Battlefield 1? Welp. There goes my time off.

I still have to finish:
Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Skyrim, and like... two or three more?
But my Steam joystick is finally arriving today, supposedly. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..!

I don't really consider TES a "sandbox-y exploration" game. There's still a coherent story in there, so I tend to think of it as an open-world RPG.
Yes, that was my point. I love exploring even in NON sandboxy exploration games. Honestly this is more of a survival-exploration game than it is an exploration game. It doesn't help that all of the things you can find are relatively samey.
Oh look, another building with weird cthlulhu-esque growths. Look another ruin that's a set of stairs. Look another ruin that's just a small house. Look another locked up ops building with shrieking alarms. Look another puzzle that is just 'what order is the number is now, we're just pumping the front number to the back'.

Same. And eventually I figure I'll actually finish Mass Effect 3, or one of the Fallout games aside from New Vegas instead of getting distracted.

Dr Pepper and a week off in February, yo.

You finished the best Fallout game, so you can stop there if you want.
ME3 ends a good storyline. Playing it just for the Citadel DLC is worth it, tho.

ME3 and The Last of Us hit me right in the feels.
-
@HorrorHound @Thenomain -- See, when I was playing ME3, I got distracted by the multiplayer and basically just did that over and over again. I managed to get so much war score from it, though, and wound up sending through a bunch of Spectre agents due to leveling up to 20 with about 6 or 7 different characters. It was probably one of the only PUG multiplayers that I've enjoyed.

You're so fucking weird.
Look, if you haven't seen Grunt falling through the Citadel, you haven't lived. Go back and play ME3.
And if you want to see the only opening worse than Up, go play The Last of Us.
-
...Why did you have to mention that movie AND The Last of Us in the same sentence!? Awwwwww, and now I am thinking of Krios. The feels.

I have to ask, because now it's bugging me:
Who put on this dead woman's eye-shadow?
Also:
Should I save up for Deus Ex or buy Witcher 3?
-
Deus Ex.

Yes, ma'am.

If you find that all of your uploaded discoveries have disappeared, deleting the game and redownloading it should fix it.

The Witcher 3.
I liked Deus Ex: Human Revolution enough, but it doesn't even come close to how good the Witcher III is. Not even fucking close. So, I don't think Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is going to match.
Plus, Deus Ex is a Square Enix affiliate title, and I'm not too enthused with Square Enix these days.
As for Ciri's eyeshadow, just play the game. And watch this trailer:

Deus Ex is not even close.
