      Yeah, yeah. Starting ANOTHER topic.

What is your favorite tea? Favorite tea company? Loose leaf or bagged?

Specifically, if you have a loose leaf black tea you like, lemme know! I'm about to just go in and buy my preferred Irish Breakfast, but I thought I'd see if there was anything else I should try along the way. Be adventurous! Branch out!

        @Auspice I don't drink tea.

        Go ahead and judge me.

            Lipton cold brew iced tea.

            You cannot break me.

I'm not a big tea drinker but I'm rather fond of Yorkshire Gold.

Red Rose is good for making big pitchers of iced tea. That's about it.

I begin with sugar (obvs) added to water in a smallish saucepan, which is heated. Cocoa (previously turned into a powder) is added to the saucepan to simmer. When mixed, add to milk for flavor.

I vastly prefer loose tea over tea bags. I spoiled myself in that regards. Sadly, I have not been able to afford to order so am stuck buying the tea bag tea from the store. When I can order I find I love Teavana, despite the price and the fact that they're owned by Starbucks now, and sometimes I order from Adagio. When it comes to tea bags, I love Stash and Bigelow.

As for the kind of black tea I like, my favorite tends to be Earl Gray and the 'cream' variant of it, the latter particularly nice when I want Earl Gray but one that's not as strong.

                        I'm so torn on Teavana.

I got my amazing tea pot from them. Went to the mall, saw awesome teapot. Asked about it/price. They only had the display model left, sold it to me for $20. Got home, looked online... shit sold retail (at that time) for $80-120. Booyah.

But then I've heard stories from Teavana employees of tea not being kept properly and getting too humid and thus moldly and... sigh

I've been a big Adagio fan for years. Most of my tea comes from them.

Speaking of Stash- get their White Christmas White. Seriously. I'm not usually a fan of bagged teas (and thankfully now they have it in loose leaf!), but holy shit that is my favorite, favorite seasonal tea.

I live for Earl Gray tea, with a bit of honey (orange blossom). Sometimes a bit of cream, but usually that's at night. Morning I want it without cream, the sharpness helps wake me up a bit.

I'd like to say I'm a snob about it but I'm totally not: laziness wins out every time. So, Twinnings keurig cups.

I rather like Celestial Seasonings 'zinger' teas if I'm going for something herbal. The watermelon lime zinger is really good.

But when it comes to black tea, Earl Grey all the way.

I have this blackberry honey right now that is just gloooorious.

I like Red Rose! My grandmother drank it, so it comes with a healthy dose of happy memories and general nostalgia.

Otherwise I'm all Earl Grey, don't really care on the brand, generally. Grocery store tea serves me just fine. Though there is also some really good cucumber stuff I used to get that isn't carried here anymore.

Loose, I buy Rishi: green/white with jasmine or peach. Republic of Tea is pretty good, too.

I love it for fragrant green loose tea! I haven't tried Rishi's black teas, I dunno. For breakfast blends or earl grey I'm fine with bags, I can't tell a difference.

Oh. I forgot to mention. Lipton's green tea is nice and their green tea with jasmine is a particular fave of mine. This does nicely for when I want jasmine green tea but can't afford the dragon pearls which is expensive af due to the leaves being hand rolled.
