A (hopefully) fun idea for a thread. Give a brief elevator pitch of a concept you are considering on a MU. The next poster gives a little critique, such as if they think would be fun to play with, is super cliche, special snowflake, whatever. But then they have to post a concept of their own.
I will start with a concept I actually used in a Beta of a game but never remade:
A Vampire the Requiem character who was embraced by a clueless neonate, and knows nothing of Kindred society, but instead pretends to be a grand and powerful Vampyre with all of their knowledge from self-experimentation and pop culture. How do they react to the real Midnight Society? Can they adjust, or are they destined to be mocked at best, destroyed at worst?

A savage worlds Rifts game.
There would be dimensions with different SW suppliments, likea Weird Wars dimension, a Deadlands dimension, and the Rifts world dimension to go total gonzo.
The opening arc would start with a normal every day world with project Arrowhead from The Mist happening.
If the PCs shut that down, the second chapter will be Unforseen Consequences from Half Life taking place, wtih the 7 hour war. This will open the rifts for the starting player base, giving access to Rifts Earth, and the premise to acquire technology and allies in order to take Earth back from the Combine.
I had a half assed outline for the campaign, and think it could be done in about a year if there was a semi interested group of players.
But then life got busy and I've little time to follow through.

@tragedyjones I actually think there's a canon Bloodline based around that kind of thing.

I'm pretty sure he's played that concept before too.

Found it - Players, from Bloodlines: The Legendary. (Following from the unofficial White Wolf Wiki)
... They are comprised of members of the Mekhet clan who seek to be like the vampires of popular media. They love attention, and this is reflected by their use of the Majesty Discipline. They are one of the newest bloodlines, as well as one of the most mocked and scorned.

I mentioned playing it, yes. I just wanted to start the thread off with something!

Everyone's stuck in the Tardis.
Dr. Who lost his key and now all of the collected companions from across space and time are stuck in the phone booth to go on zany missions trying to find it for him. Kind of a Where in Time and Space is Carmen Sandiego, but the Dr. is stuck in a cave somewhere twiddling his thumbs waiting for a rescue.
When players are offline, presume they went to one of the Tardis' washrooms and are experiencing time and space at different rates that they don't really notice they were gone for two weeks.
Don't worry about plot consistency because, hey, it's Dr. Who. Just keep it PG and everything's keen.

Vampire: Moon Colony Alpha.
Oh shit, a Mage accidentally'd a slumbering vampire coven to Moon Colony Alpha! Can they maintain the masquerade for long enough to get back to earth? Will they abandon it completely and set up a hellish nightmare in an attempt to get to Moon Colony Beta on the dark side of the moon? How will the moon vampires survive in such close quarters? What happens if a werewolf finds its way to the Moon, and it's a full moon every day? (I don't know if that's actually a thing)
I don't mean to spam, afternoon coffee and a slow work day, yo.

I would play this.
I would even play this as Jamie, with a horrible Scottish accent and the short kilt.

@Thenomain DOAKTA! WOTS THISS BOTTON DEW?! Presses button
The only stat will be Read The Script. If you roll below your Read The Script score, your character has a success.
-
@SG In that case, it needs to also use the GMC Overly Specific Condition "Don’t Have Any Clues but the Plot Needs to Move Forward"

I suspect that being ON the moon would give werewolves unprecedented access to Luna, which would be interesting.

There was a Vampire In Space MU* which launched about... a year and a half ago or so? It died on arrival due to lack of interest, if I remember correctly.

For DarkMetal, a cyberpunk WoD game, I wrote the Void Engineers out by saying they left to go live on the moon where they could do their work without the constant involvement of the Technocracy screwing them over.
The end goal is the VEs would then go a peculiar shade of insane because you know, Lunes are insanity inducing. They would be watching the Earth...waiting...planning. Then BAM, Space Nazis From the Moon.
My point is that I can't imagine it ever being a good idea to put a Werewolf on the moon. Funny in a Quentin Teratino way, maybe. Would watch with popcorn.

Game of Thrones, but wait there's more. Set in Old Valyria before the Doom. Everyone can be special snowflakes in their own way; magic everywhere, dragons everywhere, special Valyrian steel weapons everywhere. The books establish something of a democratic system of 40-something (??) rival houses that led the republic while rivaling for power, so there could be all kinds of noble heads of houses. etc etc.
And if everyone got so annoying that you had to, you can literally do 'rocks fall, everyone dies' at any point.

I like the idea but would prefer almost any system to be used rather then Savage Worlds.

Savage Worlds is one of these games I really, really, really wanted to like. A lot of people I know, and whose opinions I trust, love this game to death. So much so that when I went to Ottawa this summer I picked up the core book without even going through a friend's copy or playing a session first, spending rather more of my limited walking-around money for the summer than I'd really wanted to in the process.
And…
I just don't get it. I don't see the appeal. It looks like a pretty bog standard game to me. I see nothing that it brings to the table that I can't get more of from any number of so-called "OSR" games (like my current favourite in the genre). The mechanics are overly fussy and confusing and I'm still not sure if I've figured out how to even make a character properly despite three cover-to-cover readings of the book.
This game is like the scotch of RPGs to me. Loads of people drool over it and to me it is, at its best, a complete "meh". I just don't get it.

I like savage worlds because it's incredibly simple to run, which I feel is important for mushing. Starting characters are actually able to dive into adventures being capable of carrying interesting stories and it's super easy to wing stuff. My first day DMing it, I was making things up on the fly and found I was on the money in most cases with the rules as written. I find it delivers on what it advertises, fast furious fun.
When half my table top group doesn't make it, I'm game to run a pickup SW game knowing we'll be good to go in 20 minutes from scratch. I can't really say that with any other system besides Straight to VHS.
I think noms for bennies would translate very well to a mush, and help to get rid of the stunlock that PCs sometimes get stuck into.
The only real difficulty I have with it is planning for wild die craziness.
