Personally, if we're going in that vein, I'd be down with a Predators type. Because that movie was awesome.

Not that I'm COMPLAINING. I'm not, seriously, I'm not.

You know you would love the fuck out of a game inspired by the Alien franchise, but tweaked to be more compat long-term (I mean, the movies kind of make a thing of 'one or two of us were lucky to get out alive').

Yes, I love it so vigorous and hard, like a one night stand. Considering the events I like to run(and I point to the few horror ones I ran on 5W that I still look fondly on), that'd be right up my alley dark sci fi Lovecraftian horror stuff.

Oh, sci-fi horror is my favorite of favorite sub-genres. I am so excited for Life later this month. It looks like a retelling of The Thing in space...

...and I ain't mad about that at all.

Also, @Miss-Demeanor - The comics / concept were good. The movie execution just... not so much.

@Auspice Oh I had absolutely looked forward to AVP. Almost as much as I looked forward to Freddy v Jason. I was less disappointed with FVJ. That said... I would absolutely endorse a The Thing in space MU*. I own both The Thing and its prequel, AND the entire Alien series (including director's cut of the first.. and the Rifftrax of it)... so I'm utterly down for Sci-Fi/Horror In Space MU*.

@Ghost I'm not going out of my way. I made it clear from the outset that I may be misreading your tone. As I have stated numerous times I don't always interpret those correctly, and I'm the one who initially brought up a colonizing concept. So it's not unreasonable you might have been referencing it specifically.
