I really wanted to enjoy this place, but certain personalities were just rubbing me the wrong way. I'm bummed about it, because I really loved my character.

I gave it a try too but with this happening just as my interest was flagging I might give up. Dunno.
Staff is lovely, but I think I just ran into my standard WoD game issues (sandboxiness, disconnected concepts), exacerbated by 'everyone is godlike' making it very hard to relate to much of anything going on. Also it wasn't clear if there was really much metaplot outside of what some PCs were running, and if they were running it for staff, it was hard if you couldn't mesh (or even just find like online times) with those people.

We are, indeed, back up! It does look like there is data loss, going back to 5/13 I do believe.
If you're a player and lost something, feel free to put in a +request and staff will do all they can.

I'm bummed because I love my character too. I check in from time to time, but very few people seem to be willing to play out in the open during my normal hours. And when that does happen, the scenes get flooded.

I've been mostly enjoying my time on this chat.
I don't have any previous experience with this VASpider that everyone talks about here but she is apparently back to playing (after some sort of hiatus I guess?) on this chat. @TNP I play on Fate's Harvest and Fear & Loathing ... both are entertaining. NO big red flags so far as I can tell. If you're going for Changeling, obviously FH is focused on that. Fear & Loathing has a growing Changeling sphere and is looking for some particular roles. You can log on there to find out more.
As for FH, since its their thread, I give a thumb's up personally

@Ataru Changeling could be interesting. I've only played it once and haven't the slightest idea of what I might want to play. I've been reading the website and refamiliarizing myself with Changeling.

We can generally help with just about anything there. Just give us a cool concept (bad luck charm, fire dragon), etc, and we can make it work.
