@Jaded It's just clicks. You won't get many (or any) for criticizing works no one cares about.

I was on the fence about pre-ordering.

I’m not on the fence anymore.

Remember to order through GOG to give maximum profit to the creators.

@Thenomain This game is going to be amazing, and CDPR deserves to be considered one of the top game studios these days. I'll be preordering for sure.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is part of this month's Humble Bundle. I already have the game, but I say this because it's an amazing game and everyone should play it.

Seconded. It's surprisingly affecting in terms of narrative and execution, plus has really quite good atmospherics; a couple of the screenshots in my wallpapers directory are ones I took in Hellblade using Ansel.

@Auspice β€” there's only two Hellblade ones in the screenshots folder I use for wallpapers right now, but here's the folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/777scj72o0l3f2b/AAC4xVi4WifuUy0X-GuJN1tza?dl=0

The rest are (a lot of) Dragon Age: Inquisition, (a lot of) Horizon Zero Dawn, Mass Effect Andromeda, a little bit of Black Desert Online, a little bit of Star Citizen (I actually have more shots from that I should really throw in), some Witcher 3, a little bit of Elite: Dangerous, and (a surprising amount of) The Secret World.

(I literally just have every machine I own, regardless of OS, set to pull wallpapers randomly from that folder. The folder is just a small set of the various screenshots I've taken, and periodically I remove ones and switch in new ones from my main library of screenshot work. I also used to maintain a screenshot blog, which has some of the shots I plan to swap in or add next.)

Anita Sarkeesian doesn't like it so it's bound to be good.

@Tyche I find it "interesting" that she posts her resume, effectively offering her services as a consultant to help video game companies avoid "problematic" content, but then also leads the charge on trying to publicly shame companies about "problematic" content.

"You need to buy my exterminator services."
                              "I don't have a pest problem."
...salesman presses a button on a remote control.
                              "You do now."

Sarkeesian is a bit of a carpetbagger. Best of luck to her for publicly attacking the companies she hopes that will hire her.

I think someone in that Twitter thread had the right response: it sounds like the freakin' mob.

'What a nice game you have here... be a shame if something happened to it.'
She's gone into the 'protection' business for game companies. It's gross. It reads like she's picking out potentially controversial games and saying 'If you pay me, I won't say bad things about you and your game.'

When people stopped taking her seriously(which is about a few years ago)she needed to change her schitck. Need them clicks. Need that sweet sweet ad revenue.

She could do more benefit if she questioned CDPR's questionable workplace practices. Which has been a thing in the past. The whole Glassdoor thing from a year or two back.

Yeah, at first I was thinking just 'this is the aesthetic I want', but after the idea bouncing around in my head for a few days, I've thought of about two (and a half) ways you could do it. Depending on how many automated systems you wanted.

FS3. The combat engine would make large-scale robo-dino killing easier and more fulfilling. It'd be tough to get the aim-at-the-weak-point mechanics down, but I'm willing to sacrifice that for playing a survival-esque post-apoc robo-dino-riding game, hell yeah.

But I'm playing Divinity II right now, and am having a tough time engaging. I think I'm getting old.
