CBD oil really helps my back injury, but my injury is in a place that hurts my shoulder to reach to rub it in. I guess I get to work on my flexibility.

Or you can train a partner or cat to do it for you.

Yay. Electric rates increasing 50% and Nat Gas prices having a similar price spike compared to last year. Here's to hoping for the mild winter that's being forecasted.

You ever buy all the stuff to make jambalaya, go to the fridge to pull it all out, discover the thought of cooking is too exhausting to deal with, so you just start eating the sausage cold straight from the package while wondering if this is a sign you might be getting depressed?

                Not me.

Two things that help me through depression: (1) work; and (2) cooking.

My partner knows I'm in deep when I'm cooking all the time.

I mean, not Jambalaya, but definitely.

I won't say I'm envious of your depression, because that's shitty and not the case, but I will say I am impressed by the output of your depression. What a productive coping strategy!

So, thanks for the reminder to call to follow up on the tests I had done for ADHD 3 WEEKS ago. The nurse was all like "Well, the NP tried to call you a couple times, it says here, and couldn't get through."

BULLSHIT. I've been HOME. Even if I didn't answer my phone, my voicemail is NOT full.

But I managed an appointment for thursday. Telemed action go go go.

                      Here's hoping!

Today begins day three of going without my heart meds because my pharmacy is out.

Been a while since I woke up from a headache. Gotta say, I did not miss this.

I hope they get their shipment today.

                          I have chili.

                          I have Oreos.

I have a bizarre urge to crush Oreos and sprinkle them on my chili.

I'm putting these facts in this thread because I feel like this desire has to be symptomatic of a psychotic break or something.

                          That's about 80% a joke.

No, but I expect to see some YouTube reactions to it as people struggle to find more "Christmas" movies to react to. Why, is that where I got the idea from?

Who knows? But Lethal Weapon 2 clip. No idea if anyone was doing Oreos in chili before that.

I've been a mess since I got back from an impulsive long weekend away. Why can my brain just not get over itself?

Everything frustrates me, and I'm on an emotional tightrope. It sucks. (This past weekend was 20 years since a guy I was dating was killed in a hunting accident, and today is the anniversary of my mother's death. Add in work frustrations, and emotional flux from a friendship that may or may not be changing... )

I just want to go back to bed. Someone turn the world off.

Been having nausea and stomachaches for a couple of weeks, and went in for a liver panel.

                                    ALT/AST results weren't great.

What's worse is that the results weren't great and a doctor has yet to actually call to talk to me about them, so my anxiety brain is spinning up all the different ways I am currently dying.

Wish they'd held the results until they actually could deliver it with context.

@solstice Avoid cinnamon. It's proven to raise your liver functions. I'm sure you can google what other foods do the same. It's almost certainly not the cause but it could be making things worse.

There was zero line when I went to the post office today!

I hit it just right because in the 3 minutes it took them to finish my transaction, the line was out the door.
