When and where did I say it was easy?
So, do you guys really not have anything besides "well I don't see YOU making the perfect MU, so be quiet!!!!!!"
If anybody here is actually worried about "doing the hobby a favor" or some shit, since you want to act like you guys are the heroes of MUing for producing these Happy Meal-quality games, why don't you spend a week or two working on an actual storyline for the game?
If this is just going to be another "wow sandbox copy/paste of Reno in a new city" a-la Eldritch, it's probably going to last about equally as long.
I have no personal issue with TJ, I've played with him, he's a fun guy. This thing with making MUs has gotten a little weird though. TJ, Coin, and the people usually involved in these projects have repeatedly proven they aren't going to put in the effort to keep a game going once it loses the 'shiny and new' tag, or to give the game any story in the first place.
To be honest, I feel like I have to equate this to some kind of addiction where you guys just want the "rush" of being the ones to make a "new" game, to be there lording it over the MUing peons "YES, I MADE THIS!", and then 2 months later, you hand it off to whoever is handy when the 'new car smell' and hawt sexxorz from the supermodels that come with it has worn off.
...Then you come back 6 months later, in some cases, and make jokes about forcibly stealing the game away from the people currently running it, you know, in some cases.
