I’m sorry, since when does anyone consider Minaj to be the Queen of Rap?

@Ganymede Since Missy Elliot performed at the Super Bowl and all the kids were struck by the 'new talent' Katy Perry had found.

Since Pink Friday ❤ came out?

Seriously though, she might not be the queen but she's definitely royalty.

                  Right.

Im sure her majesty Latifah, who was crowned in 1989 and actually carries the Lady title of Queen would have something to say about that.

New music out this week by Echosmith, Eminem, and Halsey.

I've made my first pass on the Echosmith album and it's good.
                      Working through Eminem's this evening.
                      Halsey will be tomorrow.

Anyone else listened to them yet? Thoughts?

Billie Holiday's recording of what later became a Frank Sinatra signature is breathtakingly different and preferable.

Before Bobby Darin's Beyond the Sea there was, of course, The Sea (La Mer).

Timeless music about love spans all languages.

Here's Florence + The Machine singing a cover of Stand By Me for Final Fantasy XV, which may not have been the strongest game but damn if it ain't the prettiest.

And if you've been waiting for this, here's the full, actual version to tide you over, which is just as badass.

This is your Winter Mouse radio re-mix for the day.

Agreed, though I'd put it at a tie with 10.

                              There was this.

                              Then this one.

And I sort of fell in love with mashups over time.

Does the video have to be included? I first heard these audio-only, so seeing a video is weird to me. 🙂 I think I have two:

This one sucked me into the form.

This one tickles my music pickle.. err, brain.
