I dunno! My kitties usually have DAMN GOOD REASON why they hurt me. Usually I pissed them off first.

@silverfox By cat logic, that could be by merely existing.

Getting a flat tire on the last turn before the street I park on to catch my bus is a fine way to start my Friday.

That's gonna occupy my thoughts all day.

Is it just some lost air?
Am I gonna need to buy a new tire?

                Fuck.

@Auspice try looking at good condition used tires as another option?

Because they have to withstand being slammed against hard surfaces with a half ton of weight over them for mile after mile.

It sucks. Colorado roads are so bad because of our winters that this last time I got the damn warranty because I know I WILL use it.

This is why I'm demanding expensive presents IRL.

We didnt move a dresser and bed into new house (didn't put it on truck) because SisterInLaw said she wanted them. SiL and her husband make extra money getting furniture for cheap (in this case, free) and then reselling them for 50-100.

The day we arranged for them to bring the truck and pick it up, they were "already out doing garage sales and had stuff in the trailer" and wanted to see a pic of the bed.

They "dont like it" and have changed their minds on picking it up.

Bitch is SoOOoOoo in the penalty box with me right now.

Important detail: We rented a truck. We cant move it easily ourselves without spending money.

IRL - I manage people. That seems vague enough for no real details. However, this week has just sucked. I drove 1 hour each way to find a meeting was cancelled that no one told me about. I had 'adult beverages' and someone said I should come into work, even though I did my like 10+ hours already and they knew I wasn't fully sober. My team have been in-fighting like they are 4 years old and only one kid got the new unicorn toy. Not my best 'manager' moment of this happening:

Team Person Who Always Does Bare Minimum With EyeRolls: "I don't appreciate you snapped at me yesterday."
Me: I don't appreciate you didn't do your job at all yesterday.
                                  T: …
T: Or that you were late getting into work.
Me: You mean getting that thing done at another area so you can get paid?
                                  T: …
                                  T: You shouldn't have snapped.
Me: You should try doing your job.

Yeah, I might be burnt out. But comeon, stop in-fighting like toddlers.

@Herja Oh hon! I went through that last year and the holidays. I didn't expect it either. Just know it's okay and reach out however you need to, so that you feel better.

                                        It's okay to be affected.

I'll keep you in my thoughts. Because it does suck and I understand.

Work: You need to apply for this course as a condition of your job.
Me: Applies for job, comes across bit that says "give form to manager", so gives form to manager.
Manager: No, there is a fee waiver button you must press.
Me: There is not a button.
Manager to admissions: Where is the button?
Admissions: we will look into this.

                                          Today:
Work: You are doing that course but you also have to apply for it in a second way that is identical with the same information but just requires you to input it all again.
Me: Does that. Finds form that says "give form to manager".

                                          Meanwhile:
Admissions: We have closed your problem: we no longer use the paper form, please press the button.
Me: Please see original email in this thread where I said THERE IS NO BUTTON

                                          I may scream...

So - fired for sugar crashes. Now I need a termination letter (which they didn't give me) for unemployment and any other social service stuff I might qualify for, being completely broke.

I call to speak to the HR bitch - she's not in, but my former manager says she'll send it, the girl tells me. I tell her to relay to the manager that I would like the exact wording. AKA - Sugar crashes, phone calls when you crash, etc etc.

We'll see how that works. I'm just annoyed with life in general, because my auto loan tried to take their payment a week early, so that was a million phone calls to the bank to dispute it, reverse the overdraft fees, blah blah blah. I'm still broke, but now I'm not negative broke.
