 The guy lived a kickass life, had a hell of a career, and possessed the voice of a higher-level being.

 "He threw a bic pen into a tree in front of me." I don't feel sad about Christopher Lee's passing. What a life that man had. He got to play Dracula, Saruman, and he could kill you with a goddamn bic pen at range. Dusty... from what I've heard, Dusty could be a difficult guy, but he calmed down when he got older, it seems, and he made peace with his family -- and a pro wrestler making it to almost 70 especially when they did the shit Dusty Rhodes did - fucking barbed-wire matches - is an achievement.

 @ZombieGenesis Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Not Saruman!
 @The-Tree-of-Woe For some reason, I could not STAND the elephant show song as a child. The "skinamarinky dinky dink" parts bugged the crap out of me. The "skinamarinky dinky dink" parts bugged the crap out of me.

 @The-Tree-of-Woe said: 50 is ancient for a gorilla. I know. But he was still a huge part of my childhood growing up (every time I visited my father, I wanted to go see Ivan), and part of my awareness-learning of the world -- I loved going and visiting him, but eventually I did realize (as did many others) that where he was was a bad, bad place for him. Too small, kinda yuck. I was so, so, so glad when he went off to a good zoo. He had a good run of it.

 @Jaded Before I even thought, "too bad", I thought, "I wonder if that means region-locking might disappear". Priorities.
