Wednesday night I had to put Rock to sleep due to neurological complications from his Cushing's Disease. I've been carrying around his collar everywhere I go and every time my house settles I think it's him moving around. In the morning I keep thinking about how I have to give him his meds and fill his bowls...and then I realize I don't. I'm devastated.

@cupcake I'm so sorry for your loss, but I'm also so proud that you loved your baby enough to perform that last kindness even though it's obviously breaking your heart. Thank you for loving him so well.

Would it help you to talk about Rock and share some memories, or would that just open the wound?
