I'd be interested in Ancient Greek RP as long as it wasn't too literally Ancient Greece. Like, if it had the style but not worrying about historical accuracy too much.

Ancient Greece is a pretty large theme. What exactly are people looking for? Gods, Heroes, & Monsters a la Clash of the Titans, Hercules, and Xena? Warring city-state politics like in the Rome series, the Troy movie, etc? Or do people want the dangerous ancient world surrounding the tiny points of light full of adventure as in old-school D&D, Conan the Barbarian, and so on?

Of course, the player of Zeus would end up TSing half the MU*...

At least in this case it would be in character and theme for it to happen.

We've been practicing our erotic euphemisms.

I've never played this system but I am very interested so I'll be picking up the book. Are there demi-gods?

                Quoted for truth.

Also, for added fun, you could go full-on Everworld, which would be fantastically lolzy.

If anyone with MU-running skills wanted to do an Egypt game, I could help them build the theme. Might as well use my degrees for something.

There actually was a Hercules and Xena rpg system out there, iirc.

Published by WEG, it uses a success-based d6 pool system based on the D6 system.

Sounds awesome. Also, I'm amazed at how little love Egypt has ever gotten in mu*ing, but they had fairly regular trade with Egypt; so I mean, if amazons could show up from (where-ever they lived) ......

Themiskyra and the Amazons are products of Grecian imagination based on Scythian women.

@ganymede And, if recent translations of Grecian vases are to be believed, they had names/nicknames ranging from "Worthy of Armor" to "Battle-cry" to ... "Hot Flanks" https://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/09/140923-amazon-greek-vase-translations-science/

                                  I actually own it <.<
It uses a slightly stripped down version of D6 Fantasy, IIRC.

@zombiegenesis So would people be playing plain humans, demi-gods, those with some fancy power of any sort?

invites players to portray mythical heroes returned from the Underworld β€” such as Odysseus, Achilles, Heracles, Atalanta, Andromeda or Penthesilea β€” or characters created from scratch, living in a Greece both ancient and post-apocalyptic.
                                          .

Pretty much anything from human to mythological creatures; saytyrs, nymphs, other some type of fae creature.
