Good or New Movies Review

I saw Coco.
Very nice. respectful of Mexican culture while still presenting it an informational way for those not familiar. Some discrepencies, according to my Mexican friends, but none of them glaring nor unforgiveable, and they were all very satisfied.
I also saw Jumanji.
Hella fun, y'all. Super fun. Yes, it's a sequel.
-
I was shocked by how much fun Jumanji was. Very enjoyable movie.

As a Polish-American that enjoys a good Polka, I fully endorse The Polka King with Jack Black. Based on Jan Lewandoski's story, the portrayal of Polka folks in the movie is humorous at times. Makes me want to bust out my satin windbreaker with eagle embroidered on the back and polka.
A funny running gag in the movie is every time they ask him how to pronounce his name and he says however they like, cause he doesn't care. I do the same, now I see how it might be frustrating to someone asking and not getting the correct pronunciation of the name.

Five second review of The Post: Not bad but not very good, stars Meryl Streep as amazing and for some reason Tom Hanks’ close-ups. (Insert dramatic sting here.)
-
I can third Jumanji, was surprisingly entertaining and fun. Jack Black imho, stole the show though everyone had their moments.
***=Not exactly a spoiler really but, people bitch about everything these days. You'll understand when you see the movie.***

A fourth for Jumanji and Jack Black kicked arse.
-
Jack Black has surprised me in a few movies lately. I watched Goosebumps on a dare but actually very much enjoyed it.

How is that a spoiler?I removed the part that was from my post because even if @Lithium removes it, if I posted it too, it would remain in my post (edits do not repercuss across quoted texts).

@coin
Oh I see the part you were referencing. Got it. -
@coin Not really a spoiler but whatever. Happy now?

I mean, I could've done without the snide remarks in both the edit and your response, since what you consider a spoiler and what other people consider spoilers doesn't need to be the same thing--but whatever, if you needed to get all snappy about it, that's on you.
-
@coin Carefuly, Lithium is perfect. She's never wrong or off. If there's a problem, clearly it's you.
-
Oh dear. Here we go again. Starting to think @Cirno has snuck back on.

That's because you think that you do nothing wrong, and that there would be a finite people who dislike your attitude.
-
Let's not start this again, please.

Been sniping with @Lithium long before you came around. Get your own damn hissy fit to participate in.

LOL I love you @Coin
I mean that. -
Watched three billboards last night. Very emotional, with laughter and tears. Good film, if you enjoy discovering that everyone is flawed, and some brilliant acting by Francis McDormand, and I loved it.
Planning to see a lot of films over next two days....
