Without spoilers....Solo was a bland forgettable movie as a Starwars film. Go see Infinity War again or for the first time instead, or see if Black Panther is at a dollar theater and save some money.
Or Deadpool 2...

If you want to elaborate, feel free to PM me. I was ambivalent towards it, and the premise of the previews didn't seem all that appealing. Also, 'space octopus' seemed super meh. -
@bobotron We're going to a drive-in soon with friends and we had to pick between Deadpool 2 and Solo. It's not even a real choice.
Damn, it's the first Star Wars movie coming out in the theatres in my lifetime that I won't go see. The trailer just looked... meh. I mean, sure, I'll eventually watch it at home, but...

I had a sneaky suspicion last week when I read an article claiming everyone who saw it thought it was super duper awesome.
It looks entertaining, and I really love how the new EU feels like a table top RPG session, I'll probably really like it, despite it not being Shakespeare.

The 2 week spoiler timer needs to be posted front page if people are going to be shitty about people saying they were surprised.
It's not a consensus around the world, or around the internet. If you think its precious that someone not want spoilers you invite me to spoil things 24 hours later, because if you weren't there for the private prescreening, you should try harder.

Liked Deadpool 2 better than the first one.
Actual budget got them a real villain, awesome supporting characters, plus looool does it take the piss out of everything Liefeld.

So I just checked out a low budget sci-fi movie called Altered Hours. For people who like the indie movie scene, I can recommend this as a fairly decent sci-fi movie that does not fall too much into Syfy made for tv movie territory. The premise is strong and the acting is good.

@jaded Gonna agree. Not a huge fan of Star Wars (husband and child are) and I was happy when I had a work call pop up that I had to step out and take. Bland is a pretty good way to put it.

The promotional stuff for Deadpool 2 had a music video that featured Celine Dion singing a song named Ashes.Bland is my polite way of putting it. Yes.

@jaded I will hands down confess to seeing Deadpool twice (once with my moviepass, another time on cheap night) and unashamedly say that Ashes, is currently on a loop, on my echo. Not regrets. "This thing only goes to an 11, now beat it spiderman!"
