gany noes sadness
you'll never find another no one who'll take your shit like i have
I also like this one.
where's all the money gone? i'm talking to you. all up the hole in your arm? is the needle a much better screw?
(The London) Suede should get props for being proto-emo. I mean, I like emo well enough, but those whiny bitch-ass children ain't got nothing on Brett Anderson and crew.

@wizz Gasp!! You've discovered Steam Powered Giraffe!!! That one's definitely a tear-jerker. This one isn't so much of one but it's super-inspiring.
-
I really, really like them! It's def not my usual jam, but the feels are real as heck
-
@wizz My niece turned me onto them a couple years ago. They go around and perform concerts at conventions and such and they're totally family-friendly.
-
I cant get over the steampunk gimmick. I tried, more than once, I just, cannot.

Well if we're going with heart-wrenching, there's nothing sadder to me than Gotye's Bronte.
Both the song and the video make me VERY SAD every time. If you want to be EXTRA sad, look up the subject of the lyrics.
Behind a spoiler for those who might want to give this song a skip:

Not really random, and not really 'less gamey' but still.
The Gentleman's Guide to Vampires (VtM v5) -
On a related note.
A V5 actual play run by Jason Carl, one of the developers. This was done by Geek and Sundry on their Twitch, and it'll be added to their Youtube over the next few weeks, all the sessions.

Especially for @Coin: Hamildolph
Two things:
- That was pretty great, I love filk and this was really on-point skills-wise;
- The absolute irony of a group of six white dudes co-opting something created by and starring a cast of multi-racial people of color as a parody to reference a Christmas story about how differences are worth mockery unless they're useful is just... I think it's a bit intense. Lol.

At least in MUSHing bad or unintentionally hilarious sex scenes are free!
Don't mind me, I'll just be over here ratcheting up my pepper mill. OK, so that one is pretty cute. I'd probably +vote and +praise someone for that.
-
@mietze It is criminal I can't upvote this two dozen more times at the very least. I kinda shy away from this now because I'm so hopelessly out of practice at this point, but... I dunno, I'm feeling much better now. Because wow. The last four especially read like really bad acid trips.
-
I love bad TS scenes. Like love love love. Gimme spelling, punctuation, and pretty good grammar and you can crank my pepper mill all you want!
Unfortunately I don't often have the 3+ hours required any more.
TS is such innocent and often unintentional (and very often perfectly intentional) over the top fun. Never quite understood why so many people dog on it. But yeah, reading that stuff brought back a lot of super fun memories.
-
@mietze Oh, oh, good RP of bad sex? BRING IT.
Slip and fall in the shower?
Get tangled up in that strappy getup?
Faceplant while trying to wrestle off goth boots?
Baffled by that bra closure?
Too drunk to fuck?
Bizarre body piercing collision incident?...yes, please.
-
All of that has happened to a single PC for me.
Except that it was "have sink fall on head" rather than "slip and fall in the shower." But close enough.

Surprising absolutely nobody.
-
@tinuviel It probably surprised the plumber who had to come fix it.
Unless this is the kind of TS scenario such a handyman was present at the time.
-
@arkandel The plumber was the reason it broke, obviously.
