https://www.twitch.tv/megwins -- i am about to stream some House Flipper. If you guys want to pop in and follow, you can become leader of the decepticons and help me out a lot. need to get to 50 followers.
also if you just want to watch me stream games whenever!
-
I stream as well, but have gotten to the point where I actively tell people on Twitter and in my stream title to go watch someone else.
-
FWIW, I'll watch anyone here on Twitch.
-
I stream as well, mostly LoTRO and TESO game play but sometimes, when I'm really bored, I stream my Evennia game development sessions. I do it strictly for fun, I have no interest in making money off it.
-
Will you stream MU shenanigans?
-
I'm an affiliate but currently the money I get goes to more games to stream. Would like to be a partner someday, but doubt it will happen.
-
I will be streaming again as soon as I can resolve the computer issues.
-
I'm streaming Dead by Daylight regularly if anyone wants to drop in!
-
@OldFrightful What platform?
-
Something really weird happened today.
So I use Twitch for just one reason: Updating my WoW addons to their newest version. That's it - I don't stream, I don't chat (and pretty much literally never have), I've got a zero social footprint on that network.
This morning I got an e-mail from Twitch saying they're suspending my account for "Harassment, Scams, or Other Malicious Content". I've no idea what this means but when I try to access its contact support page it doesn't load from either my phone or laptop at work (which are on different networks), so maybe this is part of something else.
I wouldn't even care since I can create a bonus new account just to continue updating addons but I don't like being accussed of scamming or harassing anyone, and it's also making me curious since I've never interacted with anyone through Twitch's entire platform in the first place.
-
I'd check haveibeenpwnd just in case. but it could be your user name is similar to someone else's and they got reported, but someone typed in the name rather than from your Twitch page.
-
They have just opened up the third affiliate tier 1 emoticon, I just need the sub points. So if you have Prime, and are not already subbed to anyone, please consider subbing to me for the month. I've been doing a lot of Twitch Sings lately, starting next week it's going to be Mon - Weds Other games, Thurs - Sat Twitch Sings, if that's your thing, but if you never watch so long as I get those emoticon slots! >.>
Also when I get 500 followers I will either just sing Never Gonna Give You Up for the whole stream, or play games with spiders in them, for every 500 after that.
-
I really need to look into Twitch chicanery. Bloop.
Edit because I can't spell.
-
Hey you! Yes, you! Do you have a Twitch account? Are you following me yet? When I reach 500 follows I'm going to just spend an entire stream singing Never Gonna Give You Up as a thank you. Also if you have Twitch Prime, you get a free subscription each month, and that comes with emotes... well one right now, I'm working on the others though. (I got my 3 emotes, April unlocks 4 slots! )>.>
I know I normally don't ask here, but I'm 2 away!
-
I sang this song 48 times in 5 hours.
-
I streamed through Witcher 3 for several months, but finally finished it up a couple weeks ago! I started Final Fantasy IV for the first time a few days ago. If anybody is curious, they are welcome to pop in! https://www.twitch.tv/rozzingit

Hey, y'all, this awesome guy I met at SXSW Gaming is streaming all day today and raising money for https://npitx.org/ (a non-profit post-secondary school here in TX for those with autism).

Check it out, consider donating, following, etc.

Not that it's something to be pissed off on its own, but I got my Twitch account back. What I am annoyed about though:
-
It had gotten banned for violating the terms of agreement because (as it turns out) the account got compromised. That's quite likely due to the bad, easy password I had set in the first place, which is on me. In my own feeble defense I had that set before Amazon Prime gave you a freebie Premium Twitch subscription since... I didn't care. Twitch was a throwaway for me, I could just make another. But losing Premium meant certain benefits to updating WoW addons plus cascading secondary benefits like free games on Switch.
-
It took forever to get it back. Even figuring out the recovery process required some in-depth searching (since they will ignore any other means of contacting them other than a very specific one), and then two more weeks of asking the same questions again and again until they finally reset my account.
At least now I have 2FA enabled so hopefully that's done.

@Arkandel Ugh, that sucks. Two weeks actually sounds short by Twitch standards, though; there's been a lot of compromised accounts lately, and everyone keeps saying 6-8 weeks for a response from Twitch.
ANYWAYS, glad you got it back!

@Roz The original e-mail mentioned for it was due to "Spam, Scams, or Other Malicious Content" and it seemed ludicrous because I had literally never messaged anyone through Twitch. I had no footprint socially on that network, all I ever did was update my addons (since the Curse client, which I used to use instead, was bought out by them).
I guess I need a new, harder password even for my throwaways just in case they grow up to be real accounts one day.
