From everything I'm reading @faraday sounds amazing.

      It's a fact.

@faraday is SUPER nice and even after I badmouthed Ares out of ignorance took tons of time to explain and help me out when I sheepishly asked her for assistance with an Ares project.

So, basically, yeah. Smart and nice.

It took a little bit to get on board with the Ares combat system, but everything else about it has been amazing for me out of the box from online interaction outside of a MU client to all the new cool stuff I keep finding. Pretty cool, yo.

Bumping because @Faraday continues to be amazing, and has helped save my butt a few times now when some random thing made the game go down and I couldn't figure out how to get it back up. And she also continues to be easy to work with on setups and such.

Thanks, Fara! ❤ You're still awesome.

              Truth!

@faraday is always so patient with me when I have issues the few servers I help tech support (especially that Discord Bot stuff!). No matter how many times I ask the same question too. She's the best.

Also Ares is a fantastic platform and it really makes the hobby a lot more user friendly, which means people are more open to giving it a try!

@faraday has put up with my continuous list of either odd or simple or just ignorant questions, wholly oblivious to how coding actually works. She's been kind enough to tolerate all that and still answer my questions.

If it were not for Ares and Fara, I would not have the game I have now. And while there's stuff I'm going to want to do or see if I can do, the fact that I have a game at all is a testament to how easy Ares is to use to get a game running. If her goal was to make creating the initial setup as painless as possible so you don't have to know a great deal of coding to get something off the ground, then she's done it.

I'm also grateful that she allows us to bend and twist around the systems to do what we'd like. And while I might be old-fashioned and may never truly get on the scene system, it works really well for my game that was by design, not meant to be played all the time, every day. I might be a fan of grids and rooms, but I can't deny how useful that system has been to a lot of people. Even including myself.

Fara is indeed amazing and I'm very thankful she created Ares.

Ares is the freaking bomb, and it saved my interest in the hobby. Also, Fara personally stopped to help me do my handle name change which I needed to do for vastly personal reasons I won't get into here and now. Was incredibly kind about it despite basically having a stranger poke and go hey, can you please help?

I really appreciate that she took the time to document why she designed her dice probabilities the way she did. And was still willing to talk about it.

And thats atop all the actual coding and engineering and taking requests and helping everyone set up games.

I have a waggish sense of humor.

Faraday. Super helpful, pleasant and easy to understand. Made stuff possible for me. Built code that's what I've been wishing for since 1993 but masses better than I knew to wish for.

Faraday. You're the bee's knees. The cat's meow. YOU ARE DOCTOR WHO'S SHOES.

I definitely could not have got Crystal Springs up and running without help from Faraday. She is always very patient, especially considering that I am totally technically inept, and is always happy to help if I run into a problem. I have a lot of respect for her.
