To be fair, as good as the series is, that specific ep was a little 'omg wtf' for a number of folks I know in ways and for reasons none of the others were or have been, to the extent that I've heard at least half a dozen people comment on it, specifically, to that end by now.

(I have to write a New Girl spec script for class this month and have to pitch story ideas this coming week and I'm coming up blank and I need some ideas to kickstart my muse. )

I wasn't gonna pick NCIS or Big Bang Theory, okay. I actually enjoy some of the characters on New Girl. Schmidt, for example, amuses the hell out of me.
