Brooklyn Nine-Nine is the best cop show since the Wire. Fight me.
Also, I am aching to make a WoD hunter/police crew based on the show*.
ETA: *in a tabletop game.

Mayor Goodway is just the degree of incompetent that might expect from a city that has contracted all emergency services out to a ten year old and his pet dogs.

@Ghost Let's fight.
I love Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It's one of the best shows on television, and the only comedy show I think is equal to it right now is The Good Place. They're both friggin' fantastic.
But best cop show since The Wire? Just off the top of my head I'd rank both Justified and Southland (tragically cut short) ahead of it, and if I spent a little time thinking about it, I'd find more!
But it's still amazing.

Oh I know, I was just joking.
Though Captain Holt has basically shown me how RPing as a Vulcan could be fun.

So, Teen Titans Go. Yeah, it’s pretty good.
When Movie Bob started reviewing Teen Titans Go! to the Movies with despondency about all the meta that Go! brought to the field of wacky cartoons I was sure he was going to pan it throughout, but about halfway through his review he effortlessly went from cringing at the kid-focused Titans to praising its creativity and delightful satire. “3 1/2 Stars” is a sincere recommendation from Mr. Chapman.
Going to see which streaming service has it.

Hulu has the whole run.

I’m looking for the movie, tho.

I think HBO has it. So you can get it through any number of streaming services.

I am really enjoying Love, Death, & Robots.
-
@Auspice I'm glad to hear that. I mentioned I was going to watch it to some friends and they commented that anyone who watched it and enjoyed it was a misogynistic racist who should be arrested before they commit the hate crimes they were currently only dreaming about. That was a week or so ago and I kind of put it out of my mind because, well, I'm tired of these types of minefield situations. I'm watching The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann right now but I'll probably check out a few eps of Robots after.
On another note, I've been binge watching Lucifer and I think that show is great. They really find their chemistry in season 2, IMO. Right now it's up there with The Orville and The Rookie in "must watch shows" for me.
-
@Auspice Goddamnit, fuck you for mentioning it here first before I could.
Also, it's good.

3 episodes in and i love it, need a whole show for 3 robots.

Three Robots was one of my favorites (based on a John Scalzi short story), but I think my absolute favorite was Lucky 13. Lucky 13 was an adaptation of "Lucky Thirteen", which is the best of the short stories Marko Kloos wrote in his Frontlines military SF series, and seeing a short story that I love adapted well made me happy.
(Kloos also wrote the episode Shape-Shifters, but that isn't based on anything he's published.)

I haven't gotten to Lucky 13 yet. Shape-Shifters was a lot of fun, too.
When The Yogurt Took Over was adorable.
Honestly, from having googled a bit... The episode that's causing people to pan/hate LD&R (since it seems to largely be a singular episode) was, IMO, the weakest so far. Like, you'd lose nothing by skipping 'The Witness' entirely. It wasn't good. Even outside of the social issues, it wasn't a good story. The ending fell flat, IMO. I know some people had issues with the first ep (I disagree with their issue: I think it's hard to 'fully delve' into things in a short, but I get that they had issues), but at least the ending was really beautifully done (at least I think so).
But yeah, Three Robots was great. When The Yogurt Took Over was hilarious. Good Hunting was gorgeous. Beyond the Aquila Rift was also really good and if you like the Aliens movies and that sort of story, you'll prob like it.

Suits was my favorite so far. In so much that I really really really want a mech shooter and farm simulator to be blended together to make that into a game. With fully customizable mech suits with having to balance between wiping down hordes of infesting bug creatures and spending time to make sure you have a good planting season.
I would play the shit out of that.
Edit to add: The Witness is the weakest by far. It looked pretty, but the whole synopsis of the story you can guess in the first minutes of how it's going to end. The reality is, the only thing it had going for it was that it was pretty. It was unoriginal otherwise.
Zima Blue also wasn't the strongest either. It had some message it wanted to sell, but I can't say I was buying.
Beyond the Aquila Rift is good if you dig some blend between Mass Effect and Aliens.

If you have Hulu, though, you should really watch the series.
Season 3 is my favorite, if only for "Riding the Dragon," which is possibly the best spoof on RPGs I've ever seen. (Also, horribly accurate.)
