Good TV

While watching a bunch of Good TV (The Walking Dead, amiright?), I keep seeing commercials for the show Into the Badlands.
I feel like I'm going crazy...? Is it me, or was that on like..years ago? Or is my brain doing that weird, overworked de ja vu thing?
I tried googling, and either my Google-fu sucks, or I'm nuts but.... anyone know about that show? Maybe it's just been in the works for forever?

It's coming. And it's going to be awesome, apparently.
But no, I don't think it's been in the works that long.

@Coin
I really want to watch it, but the hype about it makes me super wary... And the red leather outfit.... But mostly the hype. -
Soooo. Everyone finish Trainwreck Grove?

Hemlock Grove is the single most honest, accurate depiction of a MUSH as a television show ever made.
-
I wish I could upvote that a thousand times. So very true. Probably why I love the show, despite its general insanity.
-
-
I'm still savoring it.
-
Thanks for putting Hemlock Grove on my radar. I am enjoying it!
-
Hemlock Grove is one of the shows we binge-watch at my house. I really enjoy it, too.
-
Even Mr. Mietze likes it, Sunny!
-
Yeah, my other half is the one that got me watching it, @mietze. It's fun. Crazy, super wtf, but very fun.
-
Is it bad and/or a sign of both the Mr and I being ancient MUSHers that it doesn't seem THAT crazy?
-
I don't think it's bad, but I do think it's a sign of being an ancient musher.

Supergirl made it out of the pilot and into its second episode intact and improved, for anyone interested. And Superman was name-dropped several times (hopefully they'll dial it back, but it was almost like they were letting us know they are allowed to say his name) as were Lois, Perry, and Clark Kent (separately from Superman, even! By people who don't know his secret!).
Plus, they aren't fucking around with their plot--it's moving at lightspeed, baby!
-
I find myself really enjoying Agents of S.H....fuck it, SHIELD lately. The writing is excellent, both the dialogue and character development are pretty much spot on.
Flash is always great, especially if you're into the DCU since they're having a blast referencing anything from recreated classic covers (The Flash of Two Worlds) to obscure third-rate villains. Even the costumes sort-of work - I chuckled a bit at Jay Garrick's goofy helmet but it has its charm, oddly enough.

HE'S A SHARK, HE'S A SHARK HE'S A FUCKING SHARRRRRRRRRK.
God, I loved that that week. It made my otherwise shitty day so much better.

The name dropping was getting ridiculous in the pilot, like, be your own girl, Supergirl!
I think it would have been better if she was a welder or something instead of being a complete photocopy of Clark Kent.
