Which twist? I haven't read the comics and don't plan to.

100% an improvement over the comics, yeah. I'm looking forward to that plot arc in season 2.

So i dont watch much of the Arrowverse stuff, but this is pretty cool. Mark Hamill to play live action Joker.
-
@Wretched I wonder if they are going to make mention of the fact that he was also the first Trickster for the Arrowverse's Flash.
(edit: I should add, when they did this is was pretty cool because he also played the Trickster in the 1990 Flash).
-
He reprised his role as the Trickster for the Arrowverse Flash as well. There are all sorts of shoutouts to the 1990s show.
ETA: Somehow my brain didn't register the first part of your comment. Carry on.
And yeah, I'd love to see a reference.

Is the show still shit though? After season 3 (or during it, whenever that R'as fight was that Oliver lost) it jumped the shark so fast.

I can't find mention of this anywhere but that one article, and they don't cite sources. It's not on Mark Hamill's Twitter, either.

I think the Mark Hamill as Joker is a fan-boy hope since Kevin Conroy was apparently cast as an older Bruce Wayne/Batman in the Crisis crossover.

THAT bit is confirmed by Conroy himself.

Sure is. Thirty fucking years in the making is what it is.

While it will impact everything, I imagine the Crisis on Infinite Earths will be Flash-focused. They've been teasing it since season one.

@Rinel I'm just grateful to see a Green Lantern. Though I'm excited with a lot of the news, like Kevin Conroy playing Bruce Wayne.

In Development at Amazon: Event Horizon television show.
I'm so conflicted about this. I would love to see more Event Horizon, but this part of me thinks: "HOW DARE YOU. THIS IS A CLASSIC. LOOK BUT DONT TOUCH."
...but if it's gritty and grimdark and messy and eldritch and technical and everything I'd want from a Dead Space live action? It's my birthday.

Is it going to be a continuation? or a new kind of telling of the story?
-
@Jaded According to the article a "series adaptation", so a retelling with potential to go past the timeline of the movie.

Proof that the DC Animated Universe remains superior to its live-action shit.
You gotta appreciate how well he plays with himself.
