To be fair, a gay friend of mine objected to this because he said that coming out is probably one of the most difficult things to do, and should be on a person’s own time and in their own way.
But then he agreed that, fuck this bootheel, he gets what he gets.

That's sort of where I am.
Like, if he didn't have agendas and policies that actively hurt the LGBT community then I'd be in the camp of 'hey, leave the guy be' buuuuuuuut. He's done shit to hurt the community.
Cause, I dunno. I just don't believe in the old 'they lashed out because they are gay and didn't know how to handle it' thing. It took me a long time to come to terms with being bi and I never once thought 'yknow what I'm gonna treat LGBT people like shit' and sure people are different but bullying is never okay

I get.
But this motherfucker was up in arms against Trump for the longest time until something happened, and there's no doubt now that the "best kept secret" in D.C. got out to Anus Tangerinus.
I don't like outing anyone against their will, but when the object of the blackmail is a part of your identity that you should not be ashamed of but you keep secret because you want to keep power, then it's time for the people against whom you have abused that power to remove it from you, one way or another.
I don't care that Sen. Graham is gay or uses male escorts; I care that he is a shithead who deserves to burn for continuously backing someone who's perfectly happy to watch the country catch flame so long as he gets his.

@Macha You're welcome. I need to log on and get some time with Gunther. So thank you.

Because of well, social distancing, my summer was super unsure. But now, NOW, that restrictions have been lifted, I will be able to resume my women's and coed softball leagues. Which will leave me possibly broken, bruised, and busy. And it will be glorious! And the best outlet for legally smashing things.

So asking for a friend.
How many cats do you need to have before you can have the 'cat lady' title?
Like I have things I need to have engraved. I want to know when it's official.
Seriously. For a friend.

Cat lady is a state of mind.

Allegedly, more than two.

I mean, we all have a little cat bot with us if we are here, so anyone at two can claim it, imo.
-
I think it depends on your cats.
Even whenever we only have one, the snow weasel is Very Much A Presence, for instance. And we spoil the shit out of both of ours horribly.
If you ever find yourself saying, "Awww, she's murderizing my hannnnnnnd, isn't that adorable?" you can definitely call the title, I think.
(Snow weasel has toys. But Mommy is her favorite to snuggle-wrassle or forage from. Yes, I am my cat's foraging toy. Doomed.)

My grandmother had 7, but ... she also had 30 dogs, two donkeys, some random birds and an African grey. Oh, and my granddad.

This is one step closer to seeing my husband and step kids. So this is beyond happy. This is overwhelmingly ecstatic. I haven't seen my husband in almost 2 months, my step kids since before Easter. It's been rough goings. This is one step closer to getting my family reunited.
EDIT While this at first made me happy and in theory is great, one would have to quarantine for 2 weeks once in Canada. Which I can't do since I can't afford the time off...It's a one way trip. But it sounded good. And I do understand the reasoning behind it. So back to the drawing board...

Tomorrow Eldest gets to be filmed walking across the stage to get his diploma, which will then be spliced together with all the others for the webstreamed graduation ceremony next Tuesday. Though after the broadcast, they're doing a car parade for the new grads through town ending at the high school itself, where they'll get to wave/shout at their teachers one last time as they go through the loop. My senior has been kind of bummed about the cancellation of every senior milestone, but is actually super happy about this one, since we get to decorate the cars for the most part however you want.

everything is on sale today.
everyone needs cute squishie things. -
I got a haircut for the first time in two months. WOO.
-
I am getting my eyebrows partially ripped out of my face tomorrow, and can't wait!! Though I am kinda rocking the strong brow look right now.

I am a hopeless mess at 3d modeling, even if I've been fucking around with it for a few weeks now. (I used to texture, not model. Tweaking existing models is much different, and I used different software when I did that, anyway.)
...but I managed to make a stupid simple bottle before the cat could walk across the keyboard and fire off a dozen keyboard shortcuts and crash the software or turn it into a pretzel well beyond the limits of undo.
I am inappropriately pleased with this stupid, genuinely not-even-good model, because it is obviously enough a stand-in for a basic coffee syrup bottle with a simple metal spout and... if I get brave, I may try to add a label, someday.
Sometimes it's the really little things...

A random conversation with a co worker today resulted in us putting serious thought into the idea of a TT campaign based on Persona. Which then resulted us in abusing Microsoft Teams to debate how we would work it out.
Productive use of work hours today.
