Scion 2E Online Tabletop
-
Anyone wanna do something like this? I'm starting to get tired of nWoD/COD, so I wanna go do some Scion-y shenanigans. I could open up a small server or maybe open up an AresMUSH that uses Scion2E and just have people post their sheets.
If anyone's interested lemme know.

I mean, yeah, kinda.
-
Could definitely be a lot of fun
-
Sounds neat. Might want to consider Godbound. Simpler and more flexible/complete system. But Scion was always fun too.
-
Is Scion the one where you play as kids of gods? Because I could be down with playing a kid of Anubis or something like that.

It gets a little more complex/intricate/varied in 2E (thankfully), but yes.

Yeah, I liked that game. Last online game I played I think I was the scion of like, John Henry, or something. I guess he qualified as a god. I can't remember who I played last time in tabletop but it was someone Norse, I think. Fun times.
From what I remember, great for a MU*, so online tabletop is just the right fit.
-
I'd be in for this as well
-
Should we start off maybe as a Discord server? What do y'all think?
-
Discord sounds good to me.
Out of curiosity, are there any online resources for the game? I have zero books for the system...
-
Also have zero books, but excited to learn how to play. I'd be game with a discord server
-
It looks like The Trove library has Scion stuff; not linking directly, but it's easy to find. Buy the books if you use them a lot.
-
Scion 2E is juuuust coming out, but only backers have purchased copies.
I haven't noticed any huge differences, but I havent been digging into it.
I sorta like the idea of doing the scion world but with another super powers game system.
-
I have access to the 2e pdf's as well, for those that need them.
-
@Misadventure I still say the most elegant system for this is Godbound, it's simple to run, takes 5 minutes to learn and feels more complete, as a game, then Scion. But as I said before, I'd do Scion too.
But I like the world more then the system.

There are enormous differences, iirc, from 1e.

The Trove has the 2nd edition books if you want to find them that way.
I know Scion. I'm not going to learn a diff system just to run something. Sorry
Discord link is here:

@chibichibi The link expired! I wasn't aware they could do that.

Here is the new link. Apparently, the link defaults to expire in 1 Day. This one NEVER expires.
