@RightMeow You dare to exist. NOW PAY FOR IT.

@Goblin
Right?! I mean I'd understand if I was getting it from a state I wasn't in, but I am here. HERE. Comeon. Also, I need it for all the things. MuttermutterEnhancedIDmuttermutterPassportmuttermutterStupidDLStar -
@RightMeow Anything that is mandatory should be complementary.

I had a really shitty day today. From finding out as soon as I got to work that a (very distant) colleague stabbed and killed his wife and two small children before killing himself over the weekend (I didn't know him so it feels weird to be upset about it but i am) to dealing with stupid ass gross troll at lunch to now dealing with a meltdown from my psychotic ass mother because you know, I totally suck and ruined her life (in other words she and my dad are fighting about something so she is targeting me as per usual). Pls send virtual daiquiris. It's been a fucking crazy hot noodle day.
-
@mietze Daquiris, whipped cream vodka*, and tasty cheese bits sent in spirit.
Also, this bat. This bat may help. It has extra nails in it.
- No, really! Mix it with some Simply Limeade for instant boozy key lime pie beverage.
-
Also, I don't know if I vented, but... after all that. They got my birthday wrong and I have to pay another $50 to fix it.

It's not really an 'anger' thing, but that's because I don't know what the appropriate emotion is for something like this.
I was reading an article on my Facebook feed about the anniversary of the massacre of Kalavryta where basically Nazis executed a whole bunch of civilians in retaliation for the local resistance.
What got my attention from that is the story of an Austrian soldier among them who opened the door of the burning school building they had put women and children and allowed them to escape. When the German General (Karl von Le Suire - he didn't end very well, since he died in captivity after Stalingrad, which I'm okay with) found out he had him summarily executed.
So this is what gets me though. There's no mention of that soldier's name anywhere. He did something insanely brave at great personal risk - and he's just "that Austrian soldier".

The Austrian soldier story is usually spoken of as myth or rumour, not an actual concrete happening. Some tellings state he was an officer, some an enlisted man.
It's exceptionally hard to verify whether it happened, and who was there at the time.

...so, to get any care in the state we live, we have to get the most expensive insurance option available from my husband's employer, as he works out of state. It eats about half his income, no joke.
I have some words for whoever at his office is picking the options, and while not all of them have four-letters, that's because I would be inserting FUCK into the middle of every other word that isn't fuck, fucking, fucker, motherfucker, or motherfucking.

My vent du jour is.. He was impeached, but likely won't even get kicked out of office, not that the one to replace him is any better, but really... It just pisses me off.

He can't pardon anyone while impeached.
Stretch the process. Deny him the ability to pardon his cohorts. Vote him out. Prosecute the lot of them.

Sure. Then he gets to be secure in the knowledge he can do whatever he wants with little to no consequence. He didn't lose the vast majority of his power, he just got a little * by his name.

You can prosecute a former President.
And he won't be able to pardon anyone.
I hope you see where I'm going with this.

Finding out my favorite aunt spent a year refusing to go to a real doctor and instead self treated breast cancer with eating clean, praising jesus, and essential oils and now is finally returning to conventional medicine now that she is really sick and in advanced stages. I do not really know if angry is the right word for what I am but I am pretty full of rage for MLMs and Pray Away the X theology of any type.
