If it's topamax, it doesn't matter if it has corn syrup, sugar, or crack. It's not going to taste right. Everything will taste like Pepsi. It's disgusting.

I did find that AW root beer tasted sorta OK. Like no great, but... sorta halfway if I was desperate.
I've gone for MiO (the water additive stuff) if I want something that isn't coffee, tea, or water.
Do you also get the intense face-tingly paraesthesia on topiramate? Or the 'I have absolutely no hunger drive and most food makes me ill but if I don't eat I also get migraines'? Because those are worse than not having soda.

It's been a ...while... since I was on it, but yeah -- all of that good stuff. Anti-seizure meds are GREAT FOR WEIGHT LOSS. Possibly helped by the fact that I went pure water on that one. I wasn't face-tingly, but rather finger- and hand-tingly. It got so intense that I actually felt like I was clumsy when taking it.
It's a good related RL anger bitch: partly or wholely ineffective cures that pile aggravation on top of existing conditions. It's such a crapshoot finding meds that work.

If you are really taking a shot every time I post, then I'd love to keep it going in the hopes of giving you intractable liver disease.
However, chances are you're LARPing for attention, so my only recourse is to imagine the gradual and painful progression of said disease.

I get face, hand, and feet tingles. Well, the feet are more pins-and-needles. So it's like yay fewer migraines, but...
Unfortunately, I think their effectiveness at the migraines are lessening.

@shangexile No one gets a pass. There are no passes on MSB. In the end, really, it's all about the type of person and adhering to the morals and kindness that you want in the world.
Or, idk man. you can easily see that saying you hope someone gets an incurable disease is much more potentially harmful of a thing to put out in the world than saying 'hey I am taking shots based on this stupid forum drinking game and also I think you're not going to stop posting, snark snark'.

@Meg OK, good point. How about this, I will refrain from explicitly wishing a disease on the guy (I should talk, I'm not too far from an alcohol-induced illness myself) and will apologize to him for doing so, because if he did get a disease and then posted about it here, I'd feel bad.
But insofar as he keeps being a sarcastic turd towards me, I will give it to him right back, because I'm in that kind of mood.
How's that for transactional forum ethics? I swear I don't want to keep posting here, but I'm the kind of person who obsesses over small slights and can't give it a rest until I've made a response. In other words I guess I fit in perfectly here.

I forget words and slur my speech when migraine-ing. I've actually had people I'm RPing with notice I have one coming on because my typing will start coming out as gibberish and I won't notice.
Also, I un-blocked shangexile because people said he had apologized and became decent and, uh.
