You just had a baby right? Yeah... those hormones will make you sob because you realize there is only 2 tablespoons of butter and you needed 2 and a half.

That moment you are on the phone with someone and your dog starts licking your foot. You pull your foot back, the dog comes with. So you finally yell at the dog, "Stop it licking my foot, I'm on the damn phone." Only you are then greeted with silence and a soft, "Do you have to go?" As well, they don't really seem to think it was your dog.

My boy has the adenovirus. He's getting better.

My girl has the coronavirus, rhinovirus, enterovirus, paraflu-3, and respiratory syncytial virus. She's in the hospital on oxygen. I've spent the past 2 nights with her, by her side. I'm going to be spending the third tonight.

Why on Earth did they put another little girl in the same room with another respiratory ailment? Are they trying to kill them both?

Proof that sexism exists by fate.

P.S.: Now I have fucking flu-like symptoms and am having trouble breathing. FML.

Not being able to breath sucks. And I can't imagine how hard it is to be the parent in that situation (I have distant memories of how stressed my mother was when I was little and spent a couple months fighting pneumonia).

Update!

The hospital had shitty Internet.

I have spent six nights there. Tonight, my father-in-law stepped in and tossed me back home.

I still went to work when needed. Took care of my boy too.

But, I'm home now. And my daughter will be too, tomorrow.

I ran into the worst subreddit in the universe (*).

So, /r/incel, which stands for involuntary celibacy. Think of a place a ton of people gather to bitch about not getting laid although they really want to despite being nice guys, the sluts who're not putting out and the guys (called Chads) who're stealing those sluts' sexual favors away from them.

It's somewhere between horrifying and hilarious. Mostly horrifying. Damn.
