RL peeves! >< @$!#

@Admiral - That's definitely worse! Eeeugh!
-
@Luna - Hmm, I wonder if that's happening around here. I'd go!
-
Inconsistency in decision making. I HATE it.
-4 degrees outside with a -20 windchill. School closed, as expected really. My place of employment should be closed as well, when the school closes we're suppose to be closed + the last time that the temp got into the negatives we closed. Nope! We're gonna be open.
Yeah, that's great. Thanks boss.

@Corruption I live in Texas, fried catfish is a staple. I was more saying that Lenten fish on Fridays doesn't have to suck. Alton Brown did an episode on how to fry catfish. Make it so! I'm sure though that at least a lot of the churches do Lenten fish fries in the south at least. Our entire archdiocese does.

Ugh. Insulin Pump Guy. Stop talking to me like I'm an idiot. If I ask what the price for infusion sets and sensors will be in 2016 when my deductible resets, don't try to tell me it's not important. It is important. I need to know if we can afford this long-term, not just for the first year. Don't tell me to make sure I talk to my husband about it, either! Ugh! Nunya!

@EmmahSue Talk to your husband before spending his money, little lady.
-
For every woman (and man for that matter) that doesn't need to check with a spouse, there are businesses dealing with credit card disputes and canceled checks for spouses who spend the last of the money. Yeah there's no need to be a dick about it but there's a lot of dysfunction in relationships and money.
-
Sharing finances and not being on the same page can cause a bit of strife, yes. I just learned so last night. However, I think @EmmahSue's peeve isn't that she should check with her husband, I think it is the assumption that someone concerned about making sure they can afford something in the long run hadn't already discussed it with their spouse.

My dysfunction is as follows:
- I have a personal account.
- My partner has a personal account.
- We have a joint account for joint expenses.
We handle our own finances. Fuck this presumption that couples need to share everything. Some couples are better off not doing so -- especially couples that consist of attorneys.

I'm pretty sure those are referred to as cabals.

-
@Ganymede that sounds like functional vs dysfunctional.
You're a lawyer, I'm an accountant. We both know people get whackado over money.

Double dipping! RL peeves plus MU ones.
Big climatic moment in the PrP I'm running? Of course my SSD decides to throw a fit, the system halts and I can't boot back in. Now I gotta see if anyone still has the log.
-
@Arkandel, I should have it back home if my computer doesn't turn off.
My peeve? I literally fell asleep between your crash and subsequent return, so I missed the climactic ending and didn't get to bash the robot's head in repeatedly.
I was just so tired by then. It was past midnight and I'd woken up at 6:30am. >.<

Wtf inhumane timezone are you trapped in?
-
@Arkandel, the one that's 2 hours ahead of EST, which means every PRP and huge scene that starts at 20:00 EST, actually starts at 22:00 my time. Which is why I'm usually just... fading away by the time anything starts to actually happen.
It'll get better when the U.S: hits DST and I'm only ONE hour ahead. But only by one hour.
-
Being woken up early on my day off.
Bonus points: Being woken up 2 hours before an appointment, because I have an appointment when I live in a town it literally takes 5 minutes to drive across. I'm not going to the city, I don't need to leave an hour early no matter how bad the roads are.
Extra Bonus: If it's snowing so much that I have to clean off the car 2 hours after you used it, I can call and reschedule. I don't need to risk my life for a bank appointment. And I have set days off. It's not the only day ever I can do it.
Also, stealing the last box of KD when I don't want to cook after working all week.
And one unrelated to my father: I don't know if I won Roll up the Rim or not.

@ThatOneDude Hey now. Hey.
They have to keep their dark powers /somehow/.
-
Dunno if its been said but: about 80 percent of 'Customer Service' interactions (Giving and Receiving)
Addendum: This may be a temporary peeve.
