Cheap or Free Games!

@Faceless Did you have a vanity summoner name, though? Like Crittlesticks, or FIDDLEINTHEMIDDLE? Because Luxe Af is real.
-
@Kanye-Qwest no and now I'm really regretting not trying to see if FiddleYourDiddle was available.
-
Grid is free right now at the Humble Store
Also still have those Friday 13th beta keys.

When in doubt, play League of Legends with me. ARAM 4 Lyfe.
I should play games with people. However the last time I tried it was at a LAN party (don't judge me I'm old). At this 'adventure' I may have been voted off the computer and asked nicely to make snacks because I sucked. This was by people that loved me, so I'm always afraid I'm just going to FUBAR playing with friends and ruin the game for them.
-
People are the worst. 0/10 do not recommend.
-
Only time I ever went to a LAN party... I was invited because I was the only one who could setup the internal network needed.
I'd never played Starcraft before. Rather than giving me any modicum of a tutorial, suggestions, or even 'play single player for a bit and then join us,' they brought me into their games... refused to answer my questions, crushed me, and then made fun of me for it.
I still hate that fucking game.
-
THAT was mine too. Only I think it was warcraft? It wasn't in space but the same concept and I have HATED the game ever since. I wouldn't play WoW. I want nothing to do with civ games. I avoided co-op games.
But I make really tasty treats?
-
I'll play other strategy games. Loved Age of Empires. Play the hell out of Civ. But I won't go near Starcraft.
-
Steam to me: "All but two of the games on your wishlist are on sale."
Me to Steam: "... Goddammit." -
At least some of the Steam sales this winter are terrible, and not enough to tempt me to buy the game. There are quite a few games I'd be interested in checking out if the normal price went down AND they were discounted by the 50% off they are now, but they're not worth $30/20/15 or whatever to me.

This one time, my buddies got me to play Battlefield 1942 on a LAN. Never played it before.
Best game ever for newbs. Even if you don't know what you're doing, thrrr's something fun in pounding a shore with battleship guns.

Friday the 13th Beta was extended to the 25th, I also still have a key.
GoG has started it's winter sale too.
-
Town of Salem is about $2.50 on Steam right now.
It's one of my favorite games. Will run on any system.Check it out. If you get it, put my username (Auspice) as your referrer. I want that fish pet. >.>
-
However, Town of Salem is also free on the website.
What people should do is wait for the sale to be over, pay the full 5 bucks to support Indie Devs, and also get Auspice the fish pet. >.>

I paid the full $5 when I got it. I've also spent some money in-game (for the deal packages for themes). It's a good, fun game, and it's regularly being updated. They also, when updating roles, take user feedback into consideration (usually via polls).
-
Yep! I've bought it a few times and gifted it to people because $5 is nothing, and they actually listen to the people who play it. (But free is good too when you can't access Steam for whatever reason.)
-
All I saw was "I gift" -- so I'll be dropping off my email addy to you and I'll be waiting.

@Catsmeow I do! Did you have fun murdering / being murdered earlier?
I don't actually have any extra Town of Salem keys right now (I give away games on my streams from time to time, so you'll have to wait for when I have more keys! (Unless you want a copy of WWE 2017? >.>)
-
I love a person that makes murder happen for free. *(See note below)
*Note: If anyone dies around me IRL, please delete comment.

I want to toss this in here in the waning days of the Steam sale. If you like narrative story games, Life Is Strange is just 5 bucks for all 5 episodes. Worth picking up and the story is rather well done.
