MU Things I Love

Watching POS games full of POS players melt the fuck down when all the main POSes split up and start POSing at each other.
-
Watching the master at work.
When you see someone doing a really cool thing and you're like, wow. And first of all, you're happy 'cause you get to be there with them, participating in this very cool thing they're doing. But secondly, you get inspired and feel like you're learning something and think, 'How can I use this?'

Fun new-to-you people.

Super kind folks that are tolerant and welcoming as I dip my rusty toes back into RP.
-
Having planned a scene for months, and now having it HAPPEN. Might mean losing characters, but it's a nail-biter and I love it, and I'm ready to move on if that happens. The RP is stellar, the GM is fantastic, everyone's great, it's so exciting I can't sit still.
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

You guys were all amazing.

A shout out to Amari on Arx who ran a very emotionally charged scene with a lot of drama and heartache that will be one of the scenes I remember as a top ten scene in my MUing lifetime. And also a kudos to all the really lovely players that were there who were not only excellent IC but had a good sense of humor OOC.
-
When you run a brutal scene and everyone seems so appreciative and then afterwards you see their IC reactions and responses to stuff and they're BROKEN and WOUNDED and you feel ELATED and DELIGHTED about it-
-IS THIS NORMAL?
because it's great!
and also
and then
-
@crawfish I see your reactions to this situation are tangled.
-
@crawfish So basically, you enjoying seeing others suffer. Found the Lions fan.

Could be worse: you could be the Texans.
Or ERCOT.
That's right, I went there.
-
S..sure. That's what that means. 'Lions fan'. Yes. YEP.
(who do the Lions play for? What sport is that?)
-
@ninjakitten I appreciate this.

I think if we're applying ERCOT here, it'd be everyone they're slapping 17k bills with. If you want suffering, there you go.

For the record, these are real cats that @Crawfish drew for me. Well, one cat, one muppet.
-
@grayson HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CHRISTMAS SOLSTICE SOMETHING!
(seriously)
(also I'll say again: stripes are hard.) -
@crawfish This really makes me want to ask if you take commissions. I'd like something done of my Old Man cat who passed away in December that I could use for a tattoo.

So, when I apped my latest character, I wrote three or four major psychological sore points into her background. I figured they'd come up gradually, over the course of months and scenes with multiple people. Nope. One character managed to, totally organically and in the course of a single scene, hit on all but one of them in the best way possible. He couldn't have done it better if he'd been reading my app (and he hadn't). It was amazing. I've never, in all my years of MU*ing, had anything quite like it happen.
Unfortunately, the prize he wins is that my character will now follow him around like a little lost puppy dog that he was foolish enough to feed. (Which I don't think was his intention, but if so, well played.)

@rusalka squints at you suspiciously from afar
