Do remember that for some people, asynchronous play is all they can do. It's OK if it's not your cup of tea, but remember that if you scrub if from visibility on your game, you're saying 'we don't want your kind here.'
I know the'Limited' option is usually used now to flag what scenes are and aren't slow and if that's not good enough for people, we could ask @faraday for a feature to separate live and asynchronous scenes in the listing, but it sounds like people are unhappy seeing them at all and that bothers me a lot. A lot of my favorite people to rp with can only rp because of these scenes and I don't jive with the idea of essentially excluding them because some people don't like that rp. Your preference shouldn't mean excluding others unless you're designing a game around having only live scenes period.

That fate level on DarkMetal was fascinating to me at first (I think I used a 3 when I played there) but mostly led to people wandering into the room, realizing I wasn't at a level where they could auto-kill me, and cussing me out at length before leaving.

I'm just kind of irked because a) this sort of griping is always more slanted towards women (Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, etc), b) billie eilish is crazy talented for her age and she has been making some powerful statements, such as how the way she dresses is specifically because she doesn't want to be sexualized in any way.
Guess what.
A woman won, BIG, in music without using her body in any way. Like, women probably have done that before, but now no one can say she did. They can't say 'oh she dressed this way in that video.' Or 'she wore that thing at that award show.' Or 'this guy probably thought she was hot that one time.' That is a huge win for women everywhere.
Between her and Lizzo (who, on the OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN, is showing that bigger women can fucking rock it in whatever outfits they want and don't need to cover everything up), women made a huge statement in music this past year.
A few weeks ago I got a few plant kits. Lavender, sage, and mini roses. Two of the three sprouted today!
Phone interview tomorrow. Maybe something'll come of it.
Sometimes I forget to log onto a game for a month because I just space and then I have the hard thought of 'Do I log back in and try to explain that I really did just forget or do I disappear for good?'
Or you wanna reach out to a friend and see how they're doing but messenger logs show it's been 8 months and you wonder if they even remember you anymore even though you'd have sworn it hasn't been that long so you talk yourself out of it because you don't wanna be weird.
Time is hard.

I took part in a (handmade items) secret santa. I shipped early both to avoid my procrastination/distraction from making me late and because all of the warnings about shipping delays made me nervous since my recipient is in Alaska.
She received it today and oh god, the amount of gushing in the Discord group is embarrassing me. In a good way, but still! She decided (smartly, since she's the first to receive) not to reveal I was the one who made it for her (so that other people don't have an edge on guessing their gifter) so I've been squirming all day with this sense of 'this is too much I want to say you're welcome and-'
I've never had anyone be this grateful for something I made for them before. It's lovely. 
Based on her interests/profile (lives in Alaska, likes having colorful/fun things to wear in the cold, likes Firefly, works with at-risk kids and likes having fun/bright things... I mean, there was more, but those are what stood out to me! (Actually, also that yellow is one of her favorite colors which ties into how I decided on what to make.)

I can't yet express to her how glad I am that she loves her gifts and that the kids she works with loves them too so I'm expressing it here. Seeing someone so full of joy for something you made is like, the best thing.
Having a day where my meds are doing what they should (yay). And getting to talk to my therapist and getting the positive feedback I've been needing. That yes, things are getting better and it is OK that I don't hate myself so much anymore.
