What's your budget?
I'd really like to stay under $50. I go over $50 and I might as well just start setting aside money for a smart watch (which I may do long-term, but this is something I need short-term).
@Sparks - A countdown timer would likely be nicer to have than a stopwatch, but that could be handy, too. I didn't think of those because primary use really is, well, telling time. Something, however, that displays the date could be handy, too. And if it's advanced enough to handle multiple timezones that could also be good.

sorry I subscribe to the Alien Ship/Virus OTP
Look, we can either have a (literal) ship war, or we can just accept them as an OT3 and all get along.
The ground is a slut, getting it on with that other ship at the beginning. Ugh.

So I had to revive the wtf thread because I saw this in my Hulu:

RE: Buying Shit
I would like watch recommendations. Affordable (for as much as I'd like a smart watch, my budget cannot withstand the cost) watches. Digital or analog. The primary requirement I have is that it not be too large (smaller hands/wrists and all) and that I'm able to invert the band so I can comfortably wear it inside my wrist rather than outside.

@Sparks Ugh, and in Endgame, you never even see Carol ASK about Marie, or mention her, or see her face as one of the missing. I get it, she had a fun weekend kicking around with her pal Fury, but I don't really think that he's the reason she rushed back to Earth after the snap.
To be fair, Endgame was written and filmed before Captain Marvel, which is why Carol's out-of-uniform look is so different in Endgame; they hadn't even settled on her aesthetic yet. When Endgame was written, they may not have yet known how that relationship would shake out and so didn't want to risk contradicting something.
I'll let them slide on that one just for reasons of production practicality.
They also didn't know when CM2 will be set (between the early 90s and modern? After current day?) so things could change there, too.

RE: Fandom and entitlement
I haven't seen the movie yet but how many sex scenes were in it? Because the main issue I saw with her Twitter posting was that she was commenting on the specific sex lives (not sexuality) of children's books characters.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
The serial killer caught in SC a few years back was a realtor a number of my friends there knew. I, thankfully, had never met the guy but I have a handful of friends there who are realtors and most of them had either met him in passing or worked with him for a number of years.
I can't really imagine that sense of 'Oh this guy I worked with had bodies buried in his yard.'

RE: Good TV
@SG @Auspice Half way through and i am in love. Good Omens has been a favorite book of mine since high school and... and this is magnificent, more than I could have asked so far.
Honestly, even the casting shows a love for Pratchett throughout (Death's actor was in a Color of Magic miniseries for example as the Narrator) and that's part of what spoke to me in my viewing of it. It's a good homage to the book and a sort of love letter to Pratchett and his friendship with Gaiman.

I don't know if this is hilarious or if this is a sign that I am horribly gullible, but I am still sitting here, trying to figure out if y'all are serious about this or whut.
Yes.

RE: King of Sex Mountain
And like all game dev, people are over complicating the matter.
Last man standing means last man standing! (though in this cast it's more a 'last person standing' but even so!)

@Sparks Thanks for the review. I've never owned a VR system before but I've been waiting to own one since I played a VR game in a mall in Miami in 1993 / 1994. It was nothing like it is today, but it was amazing for me at the time. It was probably the thing that turned me into a nerd more than anything else. I've stayed away from the previous systems because I didn't like the idea of cables and I would have yanked them out of one end or the other.
Also I've never played Beat Saber but everyone raves about it. I don't see the appeal, so I'm excited to be impressed by it.
I've felt the same since around the same time except it was a game at Disney World! I still have rather vivid memories of it.

Someone suggested me staffing, @Ganymede .
Hold me. I'm skeeered.
I already told you, you cannot be staff. You'd abuse your power and not even in the fun way.
WAT.
You proclaimed yourself King of Sex Mountain.
THAT'S JUST NOT HOW WE DO THINGS AROUND HERE.
