I honestly didn't know OCs were so disliked, either. I've got just a couple FCs I like playing and if they're taken, I'll go for an OC. I've never personally experienced backlash for my OCs, but maybe it was never to my face.
Or maybe it's a shift in dynamics since I last regularly played superhero games.

I've never watched it as it aired. I binged seasons 1 and 2. I think it helped that surreal sensation dissipate quicker.
It sounds like I may be best suite to wait to binge for this season, too.

It was just two people and one was... rather unreasonable in their response. There's actually a lot of folks around here who don't mind consent-based roleplay at all.
It may be that people have trouble imagining it working well, long-term, for Final Fantasy (I admit to be one of them), but the concept in general is not reviled.
@auspice Sounds like you might consider continuing looking for something more stable.
I am having an issue myself, I moved, my job is taking way to long to get things updated, so I can't work here until they do.
Oh, I haven't stopped looking. I made this shift as a short-term way to escape stress levels that had me in 'want to hide in a corner of my closet' mode.
I've been applying to a handful of jobs daily still. I'm just feeling like I'm unhireable at this point.
Wednesday, the client was begging for people to do overtime through the weekend.
Thursday evening, they cancelled the rest of the hours for the day.
Today, I get asked to come in early, meaning I have to pay for an Uber. Walk in the door: "...the client just cancelled all hours for today."
I got an hour on the clock to 'review materials' (my boss' way of helping make up for the fact that I paid for an Uber), but overall I'm down 10 hours. Making rent is gonna be tricky.
And here I thought moving projects would help reduce stress. Fuck me.

Phew. We'll call it a nodebb weirdness. If we see more people have issues, we'll pull it, but so far it seems to be working.

What are you using to browse? And, weird question this may be: do you use Kapersky as an anti-virus? Because it likes to embed itself into webpages and I know that sometimes causes weirdness.
