@arkandel To be fair, cats have notoriously bad close-up vision. They're very far-sighted, so if its close to them and not moving, they are often dumbfounded until and unless they use their sniffer to locate.

I woke up ~midnight to hear my husband talking quietly. Turned over to see my kitten Calypso rubbing up on his face and him telling her how much he loves her and other sappy stuff.
Last night Dad went up to change after the fam all went out to dinner. Mom muted the tv when she heard him cooing and saying sweet things to my cat upstairs. It was adorable. Then mom shouted "He doesn't even say nice things like that to ME!" and we all died.

First World Problems, but I'm frustrated by how much I still like Joss Whedon and how much his creations have irrevocably influenced me despite ... everything.
I think we can still appreciate the creations and the characters for the wonderful things THEY are, detatched from what an absolute ass he is. I mean, Everyone ELSE involved with Buffy, Firefly, the Avengers, Angel, Dollhouse, Cabin in the Woods, etc, etc, don't deserve our disdain for his attachment to the projects. If anything they deserve MORE of our love for making something great in SPITE of having to deal with him.

RE: Good or New Movies Review
My boy looking amazing instead of like a guy in a rubber chicken suit. Seeing my childhood monsters as they were meant to be in my child's mind was the purest kind of joy. Mothra was beautiful. Ghidorah moved gorgeously. Big G was splendid.

RE: If you work hard, son, maybe someday you'll RP
There is nothing wrong with Bar RP, but there is ALSO nothing wrong with not wanting to Bar RP. Like was mentioned, with adulting that has to be done, some of us have limited RP time, and if I have a choice between something that will develop my character and is interesting to me, vs. sitting in a bar and trying to find a reason why I'd actually interact with someone's random PC? I'm going to choose the non-bar RP.

RE: Good or New Movies Review
@Ghost They moved Mothra's site to China in the film, so it made sense. Godzilla was Japan's, Mothra China, Rodan Mexico. Ghidorah....not from around here XD

RE: First Through the Gate Syndrome
Another thing to consider is that being first to pose means being the first to pose the rest of the time right after the GM/ST/DM, which means you don't have that cushion of time to type up your reaction the the plot runner's emits. That makes some people feel pressured, especially if they are a slower writer.

@Ghost I wish we'd gotten some better looks at the others. There was another MUTO, the mammoth, Kumonga, the one from the mountain that may or may not have been Anguirus, but they said 17, so with G, Rodan, Ghidorah, and Mothra, and Kong that is 8 others we haven't seen yet.

RE: Fanbase entitlement
I'm guessing the Teen Wolf thing is something akin to Wincest and Destial stuff in Supernatural? I kind of adore that the writers of the show purposely poke the bear there over and over, and even address it within the story. Like when Sam and Dean found Wincest stuff on the computer based on the book series by Chuck, and Crowley continually calls Cas Dean's boyfriend. Wonderful subversion of rabid fandom.

The good news is I don't need the oven, frankly. Between a pressure cooker and an air fryer most common cooking tasks can be delegated.
I have a toaster oven that does convection and broils and bakes and toasts and very few things ever require me to use the oven in a range anymore thanks to that.

@derp this has been known for years, the trailer is out already. Still kinda meh on it. Nothing will ever be as good as the short film with Nathan Fillion and Stephen Lang as Drake and Sully.
Edited to add: Link to the Fillion, Lang, Ernie Reyes fan film: https://youtu.be/v5CZQpqF_74

Bart the bear, who likely has more movie and tv credits than most human actors. 21, peacefully in his sleep.

What do y'all think about Hawkeye?
It has Lucky the Pizza Dog. That is all I needed it to have.

Michael Nesmith of the Monkees, 78, natural causes. Mickey Dolenz is the only remaining living member now. We watched repeats of the show all the time as kids.

@macha And an absolutely insane win-loss record of 103–32–7 in the NFL. ETA: his career win percentage was .759. Only 4 people were above him in that, and the most recent of them stopped in 1927. For comparison, Don Shula and Bill Belichick are .677 and .674 respectively.
