It's not really a series, but I downloaded the entire anthology of Roald Dahl's work, and have read it in its entirety.
I'm re-reading it all again because it's just that good.
Gonna do it once more after this, then move on.

I read a vintage erotica book about a housewife having sex with a dog, entitled The Wife Does Dogs by David Crane.
The dog was not a very compelling character, but somehow that only increased the intensity of the scenes he occupied.
The housewife was a very flat character and did not seem to have much a life outside of her house and her dog; I mean, I'm sure she probably had opinions about the world outside of her suburb, but the author did not clue us in to them.
There was not much of the way in story. We do not get to see the housewife or the dog connect meaningfully, or calibrate their emotional levels with each other.
The sex scenes were pleasant, if a bit wonkily written. Apparently, dogs ejaculate copious amounts.
There are 26 more e-books in this pack of vintage smut.
The next one is called Deep Crotch Mother.
It would be nice, especially with Donald Duckington running for US prez.

It makes me very sad that this did not actually happen. They make such a cute couple.
It's Disney. Interracial couplings will not be happening on the big screen. Just on their own private channel. We're still far too conservative for all that. Give it twenty more years.
Poe and Finn are both guys, so it's doubly likely not to happen.
Can you imagine how elderly, racist white Americans and Europeans would respond to seeing an interracial gay couple? It'd be like in Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Nazis have their faces melted off by the Ark!
That part in the trailer where they pat each other on the back has so much Bromance in it.
the Poe/Fin sex scene
It makes me very sad that this did not actually happen. They make such a cute couple.

I have to wonder, knowing some people in that fandom RL, how much of that is RP, and how much of it is either:
- Just random talking about Ponies and Brony'ing out
or- Shangri-La with Ponies
Shangrila already has sexy pony girls and boys doing Teh Clop, as bronies call TSing.
I love how each successive generation of mushers has stupid names for TS.
The people from World of Warcraft (mid-2000s) called it ERP.
The bronies (current era, 2010s) call it Clopping.
But I suppose there can never be enough Clop.
There are vampires and werewolves in MLP. I've been saying that Theno and the Band need to get back together and do a MLP-WOD MU*.
It would easily break 100+ players and be a throwback to the glory days of Dark Metal and the other really big WoD games of yore.
Yes, building a grid...
...A grid which no one will use, because modern-day MU* players break out in hives and have panic attacks at the merest mention of going on the grid and having RP that has not been planned out down to the smallest details over page/whisper/ooc.
I sometimes wonder why people even bother building grids, these days. My games will have grids because I'm old school and prefer grid play and will nudge people into using it, but, by and large, most games these days are wasting their grids.

Over the last 12 months I have made on-and-off attempts to dive back into Mushing, but I have noticed a culture change since the days of yore. Gone are the days where you can hit the grid and randomly find public RP, and interact with people you won't normally socialize with. The spheres are now more insular. RP, when it happens, is primarily private. OOC chatter is the new norm. Stories and plots only take place at scheduled events, almost disconnected from "normal RP". Somewhere along the way, the spontaneity of RP and story has been lost.
I hope this trend turns around. I say this not because I'm an old-timer longing for the 'good ol' days', but realistically in a world of flashy MMORPGs and other entertainment options that offer instant gratification, Mushing needs to be more welcoming and more exciting to stay competitive in attracting and retaining players. Falling into the role as a glorified chatroom is the exact opposite of what this hobby needs to be.
Personally I've stopped trying. It's a bit sad and disappointing, but after 20 years Mushing has lost that spark of wonderment for me.
I'd just like to also testify that I have also observed this paradigm shift in these games. I've been playing for about 10 years or so, with a recent very long break, which I am now trying to bring to an end, but I am also not really enjoying the new scene. I remember people walking around on the grids of games, doing stuff circa 2006 or thereabouts.
I enjoyed this, because it was more organic and felt more realistic - the spontaneity resembled life. You really became absorbed into your character. You were forced to improvise on very short notice. It was tremendously immersive.
Nowadays, when everyone plots a scene and then plays through it, it feels like you're just going through the movements. You are harshly aware of the fact that you're just playing a game, instead of experiencing a living, breathing world with real people in it. The immersion is halved, or perhaps even removed.
I die a little on the inside when I suggest RP to someone and they say "But first, let's decide what our characters are going to do!"
And I am like, "Uggggggghhhhhhh....just put our characters in one location and let's just see what happens, already!"
I've talked to other people about this and they have said similar things, so it's not just me and Scissors.
Also, the hobby is not done. It has just changed substantially. A lot can happen in ten years.
There is a My Little Pony mush. It's got over a hundred people. That proves that there are new people in the hobby who want to do things, because you can't tell me that the regular MU* community was nursing a deep desire to roleplay being a chubby pony all these years.
When I found out there was a MLPMush, I knew that those who had uttered the prophecies on the old WORA were right - MU*ing will never die.
I am now firmly convinced that when we achieve jack-into-yer-skull direct-brain-simulation PC gaming, you'll be able to brain-jack yourself into an environment with a black screen and grey words so that you can MU*.
The future will be awesome.
Anyway, go play on the MLPMU*s. They're jam-packed with people, and they're super easy to find partners on.
I haven't been on them, but gee whizzzzz, have you seen the MUDStats pages for the MLPMU*s? Those things really cook! Their activity levels are totally off the fucking chain.

Ok.
I like the Idea of a Arrendelle mu*, not sure about the nazi part.
But color me interested in it.
Solution:
I will open TWO Frozen-themed games.
One will be a silly, lighthearted, simple game that is a 1:1 replication of the fairy-tale Nordic kingdom from the movie. I will make this one first, since it will be fairly easy.
I think it'll mostly just be a sandbox, although I might gamify it. Consider it a gentle, winking nudge at the ostentatious "Lords and Ladies" games, like Blood of Dragons.
You will roll a pretty princess or a lady, a milkmaid, an ordinary maid, a barmaid, an unusually handsome ice-cutter, farmer, or footman, or a scheming nobleman - the established archetypes in the Frozen movie.
You don't necessarily have to roll one of the above; it's just my suggestion. When I get it underway, I may roll a small black girl who inadvertently ended up in Arendelle by accident, just so that people will have something to talk about.
The second will be the The Greatest Frozen Generation WWII simulator Thenomain suggested. Still totally offering Theno the role of Kanzlerin Elsa since he gave me the idea, and, well, the fanart of Nazi Elsa sealed the deal.

We need this so much. Just do it. I read a kinda click bait article as to why the future likes to subjugate white people (or something like that).
So this fits with that them, let's draw from Dune and make psychic stuff cool, powerful, and religious!
In a way, you have inaugurated what might well be the storyline, or at least the first major plot, of this game. I was thinking about what to do, and then your post made me think that I should begin the game with the Lion Empire (full title: The Lion of Judah's Most Serene Imperium, with the Lion throne being this alternate universe's Afrocentric, majority black population equivalent of FS's Phoenix Empire and Phoenix Throne) oppressing the two smaller nations - the Orion Reich (majority white population) and the Eastern Union (majority Asian population), by occupying a few of their worlds in a bid to expand the domain of the Empire.
The Empire enters the worlds under the pretext of protecting the Reich and the Union from "cells of dangerous terrorists" (Ah, you say you've heard this story before somewhere?) and sets up military dictatorships on each world, with a Lion Empire governor-general keeping the citizens in the iron grip of totalitarian control.
I would prefer that the nations not be at war, but instead an uneasy, Cold War-like peace, in which proxy wars are fought between small groups, with the Empire, the Reich, and the Union funding + supplying the smaller groups. That way, we can have hilarious scenes where the heads of the Great Houses of each nation make nice with each other and regularly see each other at diplomatic meetings, while, in fact, their respective peoples distrust and fear each other.
The Castle Federation (majority Hispanic population) is a neutral actor in this drama, although I will not rule out the possibility of their allying with one of the major belligerents in this conflict.
Meanwhile, all three nations pretend to be outwardly friendly. If people would prefer that it be more like Galactic World War 2 with the Reich and the Union openly attacking the outer edges of the Empire, that is fine with me too.
The Lion of Judah Empire should be a pastiche of the established Fading Suns Phoenix Empire, with elements of African culture.
The name of the empire and their flag is derivative of the Ethiopian Empire's "Lion of Judah" flag.
The upper class, the nobles, and the Emperor wear extraordinary amounts of gold, the bows of their space-ships have designs similar to African war masks...
The knights and the Battle Brothers wear armor partly similar to European medieval armor, with elements from the Kingdom of Benin's warriors.
Basically, what I'm aiming for in the end-result is something like the following image, but in spaaaaace.
While I would like to have this game span an entire set of worlds, and enter space, we will probably just start out on one of the Contested Worlds under the dominion of the Empire.
I will launch this game first since everyone is excited for it.
You will be able to roll a character from all of the nations, so you can be an antagonist who is a Nordic, blonde, blue-eyed, milky-white skinned Reich noble, or a refined Asian Eastern Prosperity Union scholar.
@Admiral
I launched one game, albeit with lots of help. I'll easily do so again.
Does that mean you won't play on my game, though? I was looking forward to TSing you.
@Admiral
That's pretty much what I'm going for: an adult WOD game.
It'll just have a Queen's Blade theme painted on.
It doesn't even need that - I just wanted a way to encourage players to make ridiculously sexy characters and just go nuts.
I'd like people to actually make those characters we used to laugh at on old WORA - nuns with tits, etc.
So does that mean you'll show up? Are you going to roll a vampire girl with big boobs?
You could also roll a hot guy that I could fondle.
I will roll an Irish werewolf girl with a fat butt.
@Alzie said:
@cirno and @deadculture Cirno has a host, Cirno need only ask.
daps
Much obliged.
Hey, do you want to play with my African Alternate Universe FS game?
You can roll a black woman with large breasts who is a Space Admiral. (Just a suggestion.)
@Glitch said:
Man... what the heck am I helping you link?
Because I am a nice person, and you want to play on my Queen's Blade game once I get it set up.
You can be a nun with large breasts who shoots lasers from her vagina.
Ooh, I thought I did that already. Are the pics not showing up?
On the old WORA board, I discussed making a Queen's Blade game.
Queen's Blade (Japanese: クイーンズブレイド Hepburn: Kuīnzu Bureido?) is a series of visual combat books published by Hobby Japan based on the licensed works from Firelight Game Company's Lost Worlds. First published in 2005, it features sexually suggestive depictions of an exclusively female cast of characters. (There is particular emphasis on the large breasts of many of the contestants.) The overall plot of the game revolves around a tournament called the Queen's Blade, which is held once every four years to determine a Queen.
It occured to me today that you could use WoD rules for Queen's Blade! There are vampires, werewolves, and magicians in Queen's Blade, along with hunters, like this nun:
Yes, the nun is firing a beam from her vagina.
And magicians like this one:
So, in essence: A WoD game set in a European city, with large-breasted Vampires, Werewolves, Mages, Hunters, and so on.
While fighting each other, you must strike sexy poses, and attempt to tear each other's clothes off.
The more powerful your character is, the bigger your breasts are.
Unlike the QB RPG, you can roll a male character, but you probably won't be a Star Character, or get to fight in the Queen's Blade Tournaments.
So now that I have free time to make a game, I still want to launch this.
Besides, Frozen 2 is on its way, and I'm sure lots of people will want to play on a Frozen Mu*.
I am going to use Theno's suggestion and make a pastiche of Disney characters and The Greatest Generation; to be precise, a mashup of World War 2 and Disney, with the Frozenverse being the central 'hub' of the conflict, if you will.
Nazi Elsa related.
I invite Theno to roleplay as Kanzlerin Elsa if he wants. It'll be funny to see what he does with this role.
@deadculture said:
@Cirno Spend your own money with one, dude, I'm not here to provide you with solutions. Make the game you want to see played and all that shit.
Can do. It'll be a piece of cake. Besides, I want to launch three games, including this one, so I'll need all space I can get.
I'm kinda wonky at coding, but hell. Everyone has to learn sometime, and I'm sure I can get a helping hand here if I run into an issue, anyway.
I shall require a host.
I could use the spare server space that my employers use, but that might lead me to be fired, and that would be uncomfortable.
