@lotherio
Awesome! Gonna check it out.
Please, please, please put the connection info in actual text on your wiki instead of an image. I wanna be able to c/p from the wiki if I'm not able to do it from the ad thread for some reason.

THAT being said: Her video essay on Twilight / Stephanie Meyer is amazing.

I really enjoy Lindsay Ellis's pop culture stuff.
I am also incredibly glad that I watched her breakdown of Bright which was a mix of writing theory and history of the film itself.
Man, I'm not sure I wanna see her tear apart Bright.
@auspice Every single meeting so far (and every shift starts with a meeting), has been "you guys aren't doing good enough" and our manager going "i've over staffed myself on purpose, if y'all don't start performing better i'm going to start cutting your hours" (mind you this is me working there like a month, so I'm a new hire, with her saying shit like that) "i overstaffed myself on purpose of i gotta replace you with someone else... <shrug>" (super uncomfortable).
And yet, apparently, the days we do fantastic? Our reward? Work harder today! Granted, today was pretty fucking light. It was just the way it was phrased was all: Are you fucking kidding me?
"Y'all're gonna go work grocery until my grocery cart is 100% done, and then you're going to zone grocery. You're not doing GM at all today."
(Normally I'm in cosmetics, hair, heatlh, bath, etc. But nope, today was grocery. And lots of "uh... I don't know" when people wanted to know where anything was.)
@zombiegenesis So would people be playing plain humans, demi-gods, those with some fancy power of any sort?
"Y'all did amazing yesterday! ...so we're turning the heat up! Do better tomorrow!"
(All excellence shall be punished with added demands.)
Also:
"Hey if you finish this task that hasn't been done in FOREVER, you can leave an hour early!"
stare dead-eyed as, they also pull away the person who was supposed to be helping me do that task.
@streetwitch Someday when I have extra time I'm going to start learning python so I can do this ... :x
@faraday Anomaly by the time I got there was station based. And Gamma One was at first based off of two ships that were leaders of a task force, that then merged onto a space station.

You can have a single ship and still make it interesting. You could also do a single space station - I'm surprised nobody's done a DS9 game honestly, as I think that's the Trek setting most conducive to being a MUSH setting (and similar in vein to Babylon 5, which was a successful MU way back when).
Anomaly and Gamma One!

@bobgoblin Command consoles, stupid space battles, and then... REPORT RP!
ETA: I didn't and don't mind making reports a la Gamma One, fwiw.
Seriously the whining about “report rp” always fucking baffled me. Take two minutes add what you did the to the AAR, move on unless asked for more detail.
It seriously wasn’t that bad, also if someone tries to insist on getting info without RP, say no!
Though god I feel like reports saved me from some boring ass RP man.
“So, ensign, what did you learn about mysterious substance A?”
“Well, sir, it acts like a base but had an acidic pH, and when you put it in whater it turns to sand.”
“Oh, interesting, what happens when you apply heat to it?”
“Oh, I’ll try that!” OOC: Staff didn’t say, so I can’t say yet!
“Okay, what about when you do...”
“OOC: Gotta go back to Staff...”
“Or...”
“OOC: Staff...”
“Okay, hows your coffee?”

Not that I wish to derail the thread too much. What is a 'strange app requirement' you've experienced before - that's Star Trek game specific?
The last one I tried was "you go through this weird long chargen, and then get put on a ship based off of what you've app'd, you're not supposed to approach anyone to see what they need or what, and no one answers any questions".
Is there anywhere to play Star Trek that doesn't have strange app requirements? I've the itch to play a betazoid science officer again.

I watch Maangchi, who is a Korean chef. She has awesome stuff.
I love her stuff!
@thenomain Respectfully, no her voice is the most annoying thing I have ever heard. :x
I would actually, really, like to caution people from making alts. I may actually ask people to pick one character and stick with it, and just grandfather in the very few people who have two characters already. We're a very small game, and if everyone's got an alt we're going to have plot-cross over that's going to be an issue.
