So. The aunt that has always been there for me when I needed help died on the third. But my uncle (her husband) has also been holding onto my dad's ashes, and the ashes of one of my other uncles. And we've decided as a family it's time to put everyone to rest. And they're going to be doing that as soon as they can get my aunt cremated ... so either this weekend or the night. And unfortunately I've just paid all my monthly bills and I'm completely tapped out...

@greenflashlight Oh lord. She already is. She objected loudly to being in her crate. And this morning she barked at the kitten trying to get her to play. Kitten is not a fan, lol.

@macha Yeah, I'm dumb. She's named after both a friend's dog and a great Pyrenees from a fb group. So she IS third of her name. My brain is just.... Dumb.

@warma-sheen Technically their non renovated 1br are cheaper than my studio, because it's renovated and newly updated. But they don't know when one will be available and I needed an apartment now.

@ganymede ty, I am so relieved i am finally about to get all that sleep i've been missing. I can't wait to be out of where I am, and to be able to do it before I'm forced out.

My new apartment! It was a little bit awkward, because their post move-out clean crew were in there when I was allowed to go see it this afternoon. But even pre-cleaned it looked fantastic to me. Note it's a studio the layout is basically:

Hey friends. The player of Vinz from HM needs a little bit of help. He's had a rough go of it the past while, but has gotten a job opportunity that will let him support his family. Unfortunately his car needs some repairs and he need appropriate footwear for the job. Approximately $350 stands between him and being able to work again.

Yeah, I didn't intend to make anyone feel bad. As @Ganymede, I too have lived in places like this. When I was in high school I lived in a place that didn't even have its own bathroom and I had to go out of the apartment to a shared shower with neighbors.

Because of my personal trauma I cannot handle living in a place where the tub looks damaged, or rusty, etc. When I said I need to be able to feel clean, I mean it.

There's no shame in having to live in an older, and not pristine place, it's a reality of life.

And, yes, @GreenFlashlight, when I get onto my PC later tonight. I'll happily share some photos I took. I'm incredibly happy with the place. It's not as "fancy" as the place I currently live (no community pool, etc), but power, water, sewer, and garbage is all included.
