No, the wiki itself is what I was looking for. I just don't have the address any longer, and the last time I tried peeking at the base site, it acted as if it no longer existed... but I may have also mistyped the address. Could you pop me a link please, Sundown?

Loki@HM (or someone knowledgeable)
This may prove ultimately fruitless or impossible, but I was hoping someone might know if Loki@HM may possibly still have any of the wiki information for Haunted Memories. Only reason I ask is because I wrote something for one of my character wiki-pages that I'd love to try and recover for potential future use, but right now there's no way for me to retrieve that -- not through the Wayback Machine or anything that I can find. If someone has any knowledge about that, could you tag me and let me know? I'd appreciate it.

And yes, you could claim Starscream was also an amoral scientist but that facet of his character has never been emphasized.
I think about the only time I've seen that aspect of Starscream even be mentioned (at least in G1) was when Skyfire was introduced early on in the cartoon (MAYBE with his being the "creator" of the G1 incarnation of the Combaticons in the cartoon as well, but that's the only other potential example I can think of offhand). In many ways, it's been all but ignored otherwise (though High Moon's Transformers: War for Cybertron seemed to pay some lip service to it as well).

RE: Good Things
Got a call from work today, where I've been cashiering for the last 8+ months. Tomorrow, I fill out paperwork to get started on moving to the customer service desk (which nets me a 50-cent raise); in addition, I'll also be placed in a secondary job category to work in the Electronics department. Good times.

RE: RL peeves! >< @$!#
The only thing that ever pissed me off about reading and writing was how lazy most teachers tended to be when it came to the Q&A after each story/poem/etc. Reading comprehension questions in particular: no two people are going to interpret the same story/poem/etc. the same way... yet, no matter how you justified your interpretation, if your answer wasn't what the teacher's guide for the textbook said was the answer, you were wrong. End of story.

@Luna I'm not ever touching the MMR again, not if I can help it. But, given that I have a severe allergic reaction to the pertussin that's in the MMR... no thanks. As it is, I'm not really wild about flu vaccinations because, at least for me, they've never worked -- in fact, they've always, without fail, made me sick with the flu for several days, and then still don't keep me from getting the flu any less.
Some vaccinations, though, I admit are a necessity.

RE: Eldritch - A World of Darkness MUX
@Coin Hopefully, whenever I get through the Wolf-Blooded Tells (among other things), @tragedyjones will like what I'm planning to submit for the Dead Wolves enough that you will get a look-see for yourself.

@Corruption Dude, belated as it is, that is kickass. Congrats.

RE: A Wretched playlist
@Miss-Demeanor The thing for Neve was, I did volunteer for it (or rather, volunteered my Keeper to be used as part of the developing metaplot at the time). What I didn't know was that they decided that it was also the one Kenneth had been kidnapped by (for the third time, IIRC, since apparently Kenneth seemed to like being captured by Gentry time and again before being rescued). But, right about the time that got going was then RL kicked me in the ass for most of a year and a half.

RE: A Wretched playlist
I was post-Liane Changeling with Neve. Had intended to try and join the Fear Wardens, but it never worked out -- a combination of RL and IC tension over the fact that my IC Keeper had kidnapped Kenneth and so suddenly everyone's (not really, but I had more than a few PCs at the meeting where that info came out) staring at Neve like she was a loyalist.

RE: Comics Stuff
@Coin and @Arkandel: They're already pushing Spider-Man hard, to the point that they've already pushed back Black Panther and Captain Marvel both to make room for the wall-crawler.
At this point, it looks like the movies are rebooting Spider-Man about as often as Marvel was in the comics.

RE: Cheap or Free Games!
I didn't like 9 very much, though part of it was because the ending really screwed with me. Honestly, 7 and 8 were the only ones I liked -- I absolutely hated X, and between my head-shaking with aspects of 9 and how much I hated X, I haven't touched FF since.
...dammit, now I want to get myself a PS2 again so I can get 7 and 8.

RE: Eldritch - A World of Darkness MUX
@Coin: Question for you -- how exactly are you going to handle Power Stats? I know it's listed as 5xp flat-rate, but is it something one can improve once a month? Once every two months? How will that be handled, seeing as how... well, cheap it is now to improve one's power stats?

RE: Eldritch - A World of Darkness MUX
That will be very handy, particularly for whoever wants to play a Dead Wolf Gangrel...

RE: Eldritch - A World of Darkness MUX
I confess, I enjoy writing a fair bit myself (and I could use a reason to get myself writing more regularly again). If you're game for it and don't already have someone working on it (and you don't think it would be any potential CoI, since Vampire's gonna be one of the major draws), I'd be willing to offer my writing skills for stuff like the Vampire history of Eldritch and the like.

RE: Eldritch - A World of Darkness MUX
Very eeee-nteresting. I've only scratched the surface of the wiki (and ye gods, you guys are prolific writers!), but I do like what I've seen thus far, by and large.

RE: Book suggestions
Never read Wheel of Time... wasn't that the series that just kept going and going and going, like the Energizer bunny?
-
RE: Book suggestions
Hey, if people like it, more power to them. I dunno, to me... I felt like GRRM was basically switching out names and locations, but otherwise rewriting the same series of events, particularly in the second and third books. That's one of the reasons why it jarred me enough to lose interest in the series.
I'll just stick with my old-school Tolkien and my enjoyment of Eddings, for the most part. Though really, I should get that Darkness series by Harry Turtledove -- a fantasy reimagining of World War Two, replete with a magical version of the Manhattan Project, dragonflights for aerial battles and more. I didn't get to finish that series, alas.

RE: Book suggestions
@Arkandel I just don't like the series. Which is a shame -- it typically takes a lot to alienate me and make me dislike books. but GRRM managed to do exactly that to me.
