I just found out the board game night I go to is hosted by a guy who works for Steve Jackson Games. I could ask him about it in person if folks want.

If anyone in the Austin area without access to work/car/supplies needs assistance, I'll gladly help. I am... on a rather small income myself and have some expenses coming up, but my head is pretty firmly above water and it's looking like I will be fine for a while so...

If you need it I will gladly pick you up, take you grocery shopping for the essentials, help pay if needed, and drop you off back at home. As long as it is on my day off (Wed/Thurs/Friday) and you don't expect me to buy a bunch of expensive stuff. I'm not loaded.

Edit: I forgot to add; if you/your household are high risk I don't mind just taking a grocery list and doing it solo. No promises I'll be able to get everything though.

There is such a thing as too far left, I found out today. I got banned from r/AgainstHateSubreddits for suggesting that all catholics aren't hatemongers. Not fighting. Not screaming. Just not moving lock-step with folks on the very, very fringe of the left. Those folks are... everything the right accuses them of. They've gone off the deep end. Witch hunts. Which is ironic, I know. Considering catholics are their target now.

So there is such a thing as too much 'SJWing' and 'White Knighting'.

Well, the big bosses are coming down to talk to me sometime this week. Likely I'm going to get the standard 'no lawsuits, no filing charges' spiel.

Maybe if I'm lucky they'll want to transfer me now. If I'm super lucky they may even fire me and let me draw unemployment.

Whenever I have a female teammate on a game, I treat them like I treat everyone else.

I constantly insult and belittle their skills and attempt to micromanage their gameplay while making personal/racist attacks against them.

State of Decay 2 is coming out soon. (The ultimate edition whatsit actually unlocks tonight.)

I bring this up because...

1.) State of Decay 1 was fantastic.

2.) It will have Xbox and PC cross-platform play.

I bought it, of course. And would love to try some co-op if anyone's interested.

P.S. - It is only 30 bucks for the regular edition and looks fantastic from the trailers and Let's Plays.

It's what these boards were built for, initially, and if we let jackass trolls force us to make changes like that then the Republicans win.

I don't like open sheets. A shocker, I know. I just prefer it if people have to wonder just what my character's deal is. What are his merits, his flaws? Can he breathe fire? Is he dangerous or bluffing?

I like mystery. It's why on games with open +sheets I tend to not check other people's +sheets unless the game is pure PvE, and even then not in all cases. Hell I'd love to see game wikis with a masquerade. Going through wiki pages and wondering 'Ooooh, I wonder what this person is!' is really a lot of fun.

I will once again vote for a south Texas border town as the location. It's spicy, it's relevant, and you can place half the grid in Mexico and make them pay for it.

Not gonna lie. The title 'The CHurn' made me expect an Amish-themed game.

Expanse is a much cooler idea though.
