@wahoo It actually was fun. Been good. Busy with RL mostly and whenever I have the time, I've been sucked into Arx. Before Firan blew up, I had the chance to play the last Tia. I'll have to say she was quite a lot of fun to play.

@kanye-qwest I'm so sorry you're going through this. My mom is currently going to physical therapy for sciatica but the pain is so bad it's really interfering with life.

I also play on Arx. It fulfills the non-WoD RP I enjoy but I'm also on Fallcoast playing with a very small group doing my own thing since I'm not sure there's a game wide plot. RL is busy so these two places satisfy my need for pretendy fun times. There's drama everywhere but it can be avoided if you get in with a low drama group of folks.

@Shincashay Supposedly the 'rule' is cousins are a no no and even second cousins are iffy. That was said to me months upon months ago and I don't know if anything has changed. I asked if something could be put up on the website regarding this because more than one person has wondered about cousins.

I've told Fidantes that if the person's name shows up @family <name>, don't woo them.

@lordbelh - You will be greatly missed IC and OOC on game. I loved the dynamic you brought to Victus and I will always remember our scenes fondly. I can't tell you how heartbroken I am. I am so thankful we played this week. No one can be Victus other than you. I hope we find each other again on another game. xoxo

@Misadventure There is a room mood code that you can add during RP that involves action or an event that is going on. When you actually set an event on the calendar, it allows you to set a room description that everyone will see when they step into the room for the scene and every time you look at the room you will see that desc again. You can customize it to any color you want, too.

If you type 'time' without +time, you will see the IC time like "It's an Autumn day, in the morning.

Regarding character sexual orientation, my take is that it's left vague on occasion for player interpretation. While there is a roster system, the character does actually feel like yours and depending on the stories you create, your character changes and grows over time. It's not like other roster games where if you played off sheet you were reprimanded or in jeopardy of losing the character.

In reply to +tasks, I will do a task if I know I won't be super active in RP during a week and have more RL stuff going on. I will focus on a couple of people and RP a task with them. Most of the time though I have just been focusing on RP an story and it hasn't seemed to affect my character much at all.

I do feel +tasks is still cumbersome in design but when you fill out all the parts you need to fill out in +support, it seems to make sense. Plus with +support there's a section for rumors that goes up on the webpage and every one loves reading rumors and crap like that for future RP inspiration.

I love the game, I love the RP I have found in Arx, I love the people oocly. I wish I could finish my family house but that will happen sooner or later. There's no real rush to anything at the moment which is very different from other games I've played in the past so it is a refreshing change of pace.
