This complaint isn't so much anger. It's more sadness, perhaps? I woke up this morning and discovered I have three silver hairs. Not one or two for my first discovery, but three.
Hello, mortality. A pleasure to meet you.

Hello, mortality. A pleasure to meet you.
This is George Winston(top) and Zoe Francis(bottom).
George is dumb and he likes to get under your feet as you're going through a pitch black house at night making sure everything is secure. If not for being strictly an indoor cat, he would be dead. George is dumb. Lovable dumb, but dumb.
Zoe was a darling and the only cat I've ever liked. She would pet herself using your hand; awake, asleep, willing, or unwilling. She died last January. I miss her.

Thank you for not writing P.S.S.
Who the fuck writes P.S.S.?
It's post-script. If you do it again, it's a post-post-script...
[bashes his head in]
I saw someone do it recently. Probably why it's fresh in my mind.
Staying on track with the thread: I prefer detailed poses. Humans are more than a few words and vague actions. I provide enough details about physical actions, especially(as @Coin can probably attest with his time playing Shadow) for those characters who are fairly quiet or otherwise don't have a lot(if any) dialogue. You have to offset the lack of dialogue with well described (and potentially verbose) physical actions.
At least that's how I feel. If you want to give someone something to work with while playing a tight-lipped character, then you have to offset that shortcoming with plenty of detail that physically displays the fact that character is a living, breathing person with more than vacant stares and the occasional smile.

This is so very, very true, a MUSH is a text only medium, people have no idea what your intended tone of voice is and thus how you mean to say whatever it is you just typed.
And this is why I read everything in Ben Stein's classic tone. On top of that, when in doubt: ask.
Instead of waiting to find out if someone's being a catty bitch. Say: "Hey, are you being a catty bitch?"
If someone inquires with yourself: "Hey, are you being a catty bitch?" Then you may proceed to answer in the negative or affirmative as is required by your cattiness or lack thereof.
@Cobaltasaurus
You'll be back. They always come back. Like big, stupid boomerangs.
But seriously, good luck with your endeavors.

Fucktard Johnson on TR
Long live Fucktard Johnson!
On topic: I feel that MSB is generally a good thing. When it's applied with productivity in mind. Slinging mud for the sake of slinging mud(of which I have been guilty of too) rarely really has a purpose other than to take a swing at someone else.
Overall I'm generally very happy with the more positive side of MSB. I think that it's good for the hobby in general for places like MSB to be more positive. You can take in the opinions of others much more easily and give them due consideration when you're not preparing to attack someone or defend yourself every other post.
Don't get me wrong, sometimes you've just got to call someone out or whatever but I think it reached a point in the past where it became a practice which was utilized toward the most mundane of issues. Both barrels would sometimes be fired at someone simply for deigning to exist as though it would somehow deter them forevermore from the hobby and an inconvenient presence would be removed.
No, I tend to appreciate the act of compromise that seems to becoming more prevalent. Even if a compromise isn't found, the disagreeing parties at least tend to be able to just nod at one another and go their separate ways. Venom isn't there as often as it once was, which I think is altogether good for the hobby.
@Coin I'm generally always open to a good chit-chat over some nebulous, ever-changing topic. I'm not really interested in the idea of an MSB MU*, though. I assume everyone's just joking when they're talking about the idea of doing it anyway.
("hey baby, I'm playing a Ventrue Elder on RfK, you wanna come to my apartment and I'll show you my +sheet?").
@Coin those were good times. Though I didn't really do any planning. I was still learning Mage and the Silver Ladder at the time. My fondest memories were just listening to everyone talk mage shop and learning the system that way. I asked questions when necessary, but overall I just sat back and listened. After two or three months I had a firm grasp on the mechanics of Mage and was working up combined castings in a matter of minutes. It was fun, learning something new without a great deal of concerted effort.
Now, this sentimental stuff's out of the way. We going to fuck or what?

@VulgarKitten We're facing that right now with my sister-in-law. Why we didn't like a picture of her kid, a video, or whatever. On Sunday she text my wife to ask why she hadn't liked a video.
To which she informed her in-law that she can't see anything on her page, because about half a decade ago she(the in-law) got upset and restricted what my wife could see on her page and is now apparently too stupid to reverse it. So this has been the song and dance for a few years now as she regularly whines that my wife doesn't acknowledge her crotch-goblin on social media, because of her own error.
I've been getting caught up on the Lethal Weapon tv series. I was very apprehensive about it, just because I'm totally unfamiliar with the guy they chose to play Riggs. I've been pleasantly surprised. They've really dove into the psyche of the Riggs character and addressed the tendencies that the character had in the movies, from a fairly serious standpoint.
Damon Wayans as Murtaugh was originally a pretty tough pill to swallow and still is at times. Though I guess it's a good thing that he's not type cast into a role simply because he's Damon Wayans. He doesn't really portray the gravitas that you would see in Glover as Murtaugh, it's a different Murtaugh. A more metrosexual Murtaugh. It's not bad, it's not terrible; it's just different.
Overall the show has been a blast. The bits of comedy always get a good chuckle out of me, the action tends to keep me from getting bored, the above mention of them delving into Riggs' emotional instability keeps me interested in him as a character, and it just feels like an altogether great show.
The weekend in between... I don't recall ever being in so much pain for that long, before or since. Holy shit.
Dental pain is...

So long as you're buying. I'm too poor for bar drinkin'.
We're doing this some place cheap, right? I mean, me and @hedgehog are supposed to meet up in Dayton, Ohio some time. You should come with. Booze be cheap down here; I be drinking double Blantons neat for under $10.
I haven't been to Dayton in about a decade.
Because it's...Dayton. That's reason enough.
I jest.
@Cupcake definitely! It was interesting to see what he'd get immersed in and wouldn't. We watched Moana yesterday and it was a big hit. I think of the dozen musicals you suggested he only showed a lack of interest in maybe two of them so I'm curious what else can get his attention.
@Auspice hah! He's open to eating all manner of things anymore. According to the vet a few weeks ago when we last took him for a repeat issue, his stomach lining has been getting inflamed which apparently makes him feel as though he's going hungry. So while he's normally satisfied with his cat food, sometimes he's just sort of like: That slice of pizza looks damn good.

or even someone just washing my hair (don't judge me - it's awesome). Then we laughed about shaving my head.
Upvoted for truth. I rarely have much hair since I tend to just have to keep it at the length of stubble or shaved. But when it gets a little long and I don't feel like dicking with it, I'll visit a place to cut it down so that it's easier to self-manage. After each cut they give me a wash and scalp massage. It's amazing. There's something about someone else washing your hair that just makes your legs turn into jelly - and not in any sort of sexual way. Just so relaxed afterward that one may feel wobbly.
@WTFE sure, but is he doctor yet?
Seriously though, congrats to your son.
