Not sure if I said this yet, but Nickelodeon's TMNT seriously kicks ass. From the tiny nods to nerd-dom to the genuine darkness, it's really worth giving a watch if you have Hulu.

The repeated shout-outs to the 80s series and the original Eastman/Laird G-novels help.

My doctor told me the opposite of this, stay barefoot, to keep them as dry as possible and that putting lotion on them insulates the fungus from drying out.

I think your doctor is full of shit. But, that's just me. I've had plenty of cases of the foot, and moisturizing my feet helped out immensely, along with Lotrimin.

Athlete's foot that won't go away. FFS, doctors, stop giving me this 1% stuff, bump it up to 50.

Try moisturizing it as well, hardcore. The fungus is part of the issue; the dehydrated, cracked skin is the other.

Some day I will buy a PS4 just to play this game. Will the new PS play it?

Yes, because you can pick up the Remastered version, which includes the Left Behind DLC. I highly recommend it.

The Remastered version was one of the first releases for PS4, and it still goes for around $40, used. It's that good; it's that popular.

For a medieval fight without CGI, my money goes to Branagh's Henry V. Doubly-so because he really made Shakespeare's history come alive.

Also, without CGI: Star Wars, Episode 6: the Battle of Endor. Still the best looking space battle ever.

Just kidding. I've had my autocorrect pull this with her, so she knows my phone is the devil. But still.

Thank goodness you weren't suggesting having a pianist at that recital.

It is horrible... and also so strange. I know the police have said there was no foul play... still, just both horrible and bizarre.

There was a vehicle recall, if my facts are correct.

My AM did this the first week I was on the floor, he added a day to my schedule without telling me. I only found out because I went to get the schedule that was outside of my first three weeks that Personnel Manager had given me. If I hadn't happen to be looking to >the future< well ahead of time, I would have had a no-call/no-show my second week into the job, because I would have had no idea I was scheduled.

Wouldn't it be nice if AMs were real professionals, and politely requested extended hours from you rather than just slap them up on the schedule?

Shit, people, how hard is it to pick up the phone or talk to people in the workplace?

This first 5 minutes of Up ought to do it.

Or the opening sequence of The Last of Us. You can find it on YouTube.

I think the Game of Thrones episode had some of the best battle scenes I've seen on TV ever. Just following Jon Snow through the chaos of it was utterly exhilarating. Actually I'm struggling to remember any fantasy/historical show or even movie that's done a better job of it.

This is quite a boast. I shall have to see evidence.

      Link, please.

Trash Curry, and he'll shoot in your face. Trash LeBron, and he's going to run over you.

And LeBron ran the fuck over the people who said that he couldn't do it.

      Even down 3-1.

Time for Golden State to eat some fucking humble pie. They were tired. Draymond Green played a hell of a game; Andrew Bogut was more important than people thought; and Cleveland outrebounded them.

And the Bulls love the Cavs, as much as the Dolphins love the Giants.

What a game, though. Nail-biting, right to the end.

That said: Stephen Curry's response to the loss demonstrates why he isn't done. He took the blame: he recognized his failures, his mistakes, and his duty as his team's unofficial captain. He's going to get better, as will everyone on his team. I expect to see them in the Conference Finals next year.

Heh, when I was a kid my dad would always obsess over putting the items on the belt in the order he wanted them in the bags. I still do it today, I can't not.

I like to control this too, so I go to the self-checkout area.

I fucking hate people that do the same to a cashier or bag boy. Fuck you.

Thoughts? I've rage-quit a MU or two in my time so I get it. But that's what this seems like to me. A kind of hypocritical rage-quit.

I know of @Sunny's involvement with KD. It was extensive as a player, and then as staff. That's why this subject is touchy and rage-inducing.

It blows when you work so hard to promote a group or cause, only to find out it's actually an exclusionary clap-trap that has shat on a bunch of people that you told would have a good time and not be shat on. Like if you suddenly realized that your presidential nominee is a racist, misogynist blow-hard that'd sooner put you in jail or deport you than to actually listen to any of the meaningful advice you have to offer.

I don't get so emotionally invested. I don't rage-quit. @Sunny's got every right to, and her reasoning is made more sound from @Skaldia's reaction here.
