@Alamias Wat. That's weird. Good news, but weird.
Okay then, Julie Strain is not dead. Schrodinger's Strain?

@Auspice I hope you get haunted by a ghost that excels in Pee Wee Herman impressions.
Seriously, @Kitty-Kat here's watcha do.
(in fact, now that I've posted this on MSB, literally everyone can assume it isnt you who is saying it, because if you copy/paste this line verbatim, it could be that anyone else coming by the thread chose to use it.)
Just watched Inception again (haven't watched it in a few years). So fucking good.
@faraday Right. It's one of two approaches and I'm not saying it's wrong. Trying to promote positive social communication and a means to keep the actual bad people (abusive players, stalkers) identified is totally noble.
I will say, though, I think the beauty of my suggested anonymous approach lies in a few key points:
Am I gonna post the gif?

Yup.
@RightMeow You the bomb, meow. Youthebomb.
@Auspice Temptation. Resisting. Intensifies.
@Pandora So you're saying that to combat the horrors of bias we shouldn't be allowed to replace one bias with another bias, and that in doing so it's promoting bias (which we established needs to be combatted?)?
You radical.
Aint it weird that "FUCK CENSORSHIP" was the progressive platform of 1994 and now it's the right-wing platform, and that "CENSOR EVERYTHING" is the new progressive platform? Chuck them 26 years down the drain omgthatwasfucking26yearsago#old

Surely you have others in your repertoire.
A few.
Like this one.

ETA: Like, I added that preface to the sentence because I thought to myself, "Self, someone is going to make the nonsensical accusation that I am saying OP can single-handedly rain down book-burnings and op-ed bannings, better make sure to close up that loophole." I am a failure.
Heh. I'm reading you clearly. It never once occurred to me that you were trying to say that.
Unless OP actually does wield the power to Thanos-snap and determine which content is or is not acceptable for people to view. In that case, now is the time to start binge watching harem anime and Sons of Anarchy.
@Sunny said in Poll: Do I enjoy this hobby more than I don't?:
Yesterday. Sorted down to 'mush' only. This is simultaneous connections. Given not every person logs in every day...
And this is ONLY the games that mudstats monitors.
ETA: This 'secret treasure trove of data' is mudstats.com
No offense, but this is a little bit misleading. Those graphs don't contain details on how concentrated that some "1600" logins is.
If you go to browse, you can sort games by server type and population. When you do that, you learn that 1600-or-so logins includes over 550 of them at PenDes, followed behind by 2 Heroes/Multiverse games in the 70s, and then quickly becomes a whole lot of games in the 20s trickling down to the games with 0 logins.
Goddamn Porn, right?
There's a data center where I live that hosts the web servers, database servers, etc for Pornhub. We call it "The House that Porn Built" because it was pretty much overnight that they went from a quaint little colo to a multi-million dollar data center with employees getting free tickets to the Las Vegas porn conventions and the yearly pornography awards ceremony.
Anyway, that number is skewed heavily by hundreds of logins for a game that allows simulated pedophilia. The simulated pedophilia game is killin it.
-the gif goes here. In spirit.
Miyamoto Musashi is believed to have killed hundreds of people and was never defeated in 60 duels. He eventually died peacefully but not before writing philosophical tenets to guide future generations.
Product of his times? Yea. He probably tested how many bodies a blade was worth and is probably responsible for a few hundred funerals.
He is revered by the Japanese and his sword is considered a national treasure.
Not a white guy. So, yeah, I still gotta contest that only.

P.S. Ghost is not Ben Affleck
P.S. My "Don't you EVER tell them that I'm actually Ben Affleck" clause is seemingly alive and well.
Banana sticker for the day, Auspice.

You SOB, so depressed I'm gonna go to Colorado while listening to my Conor Oberst collection.
You do that.
Because I don't live in Colorado.
And I wont accidentally have to hear Conor Oberst
lol

I'm angry at you guys for pitting my love of my absolute favorite horror genre against my willpower to remain retired from the hobby.
So this means I think your new idea is awesome.
@Macha Were we pals IRL and I made a joke like that, my arm would be prime real estate for a slug.
Sometimes I make jokes like that when one of my friends NEEDS to slug something, knowing going in I'm gonna get thwapped.
Makes the hug afterwards all the better.
Hang in there.
I knew there would be days like this when I decided to quit mushing but hang around MSB.
I knew eventually some white whale game would pop up and I'd be like: "Well, heroin isn't THAT bad when you look at it from a certain perspective...."
I just didn't know it was gonna be so awesome an idea. Fuckin' Horror Mux, man. Well done.

Gritty looks like a bearded muppet who had its facial skin ripped off. I find exploring his soft side to be the bigger topic lol
@surreality I like that. I would always choose that. Every chapter. Always.
