That's actually the Humble Monthly Bundle. You get Dragon's Dogma for free if you order it early. It's also cheaper to go for more months (a year gives you 13 months) rather than month to month. The Mystery games haven't been bad in past months, and it's more than 3 mystery games. You can scroll all the way to the bottom to see the past month's games.

RE: General Video Game Thread
Couldn't decide if I wanted to put this here or in random links. Either way it's NSFW. Genital Jousting early access on Steam video.
I'm probably going to get it for the dick in space even if it's probably already banned on Twitch,

RE: RL Anger
So I am the queen of unrequited crushes with a fine tradition of them going back all the way to kindergarden. After my last boyfriend many many moons ago, I decided to put those feelings in a box and tuck them away, but in recent years, such feelings have reared their ugly head once more. It's like seeing an old friend, except you know that old friend is going to get very drunk, sleep on your couch, and pee in the sink because they're so drunk/hung-over at 4AM that they don't realize what they're doing and then expect you to buy breakfast.
I think the difference between a celebrity crush and a real-person-you-know crush are important as with the former, there's no chance in hell and you know it going in, whereas with the latter, most of the time there is the chance of possibility. Which in its way, is so much worse.
That is one of the better ones.
Plus, I mean, several new weapons and the most kickass looking armor.
Think you meant to reply to Theno, but this is too funny. Like when Netflix put the comedy subtitles on a nature show. Have a +1 just because it oddly fits.

RE: Resident Evil: Redefined
The date breaks my brain. I get that's when the movies come out but the games and the live action movies my take place in the same universe, but each have their own canon. (Start date, Umbrella and how it does things, who is alive, what's under the Raccoon City / Arklay mountains). The continuities really don't smoosh well together. It's cool they are doing something new, but they are going to have to go through a lot of work saying what isn't cannon from both if they are going to pick and choose elements.
I mean the game has a live action movie, audio dramas, novels, (but not the SD Perry ones), comics 9the magna but not the comics), the CGI movies, ports (but not all some games are what if scenarios, some are simulators, and the remakes usually add / change / contradict older games, and the remake of 2 is supposedly a complete remake not a re-skinning) ,some are from a different perspective, and a stage play (but not the musical) in it's continuity.
And sure, it also has Chris punching a fucking rock into a volcano to kill the bad guy...
If they want to include Outbreak, they are going to want to include Nemesis as well (RE 2 actually takes place during the middle of RE 3; Jill fights stuff, gets knocked out at the clock tower, 2 happens, Claire and Leon leave, Jill wakes up and continues on and leaves herself.) Also Outbreak files 1 and 2. And 0 is 24 hrs before 1. Oh and read the Wesker files, but unless they speak Japanese they will have to rely on translations and since they are the original file from Japan...
I've been working on and off for a lore video last couple of months because of the 20th anniversary. I'm not obsessed, I swear!

RE: Shameless Self-Promotion (Again!)
So this isn't really self-promotion more a WTF internet so I really don't know where to stick it, but Tay Zonday just randomly started following me on Twitter?

RE: Resident Evil: Redefined
Yeah, I think that would break my brain. Why not just say zombies at that point? Unless they are Gaiden Truthers and that it's canon. I could get behind that.
Thanks for he heads up though!

RE: Resident Evil: Redefined
Any idea if it's game canon or movie canon?
Actually nvm! I've been spending too much time doing timeline stuff that 2005 would annoy me too much to play there. Things are so messed up as it is.

RE: Cheap or Free Games!
Humble Store is giving away Dirt 3. (It's also a big birthday sale going on right now).
Gog still has the falls sale going on. New things keep getting added to the sale. Free games, and a couple more things were added to connect since my last post.
This month's Ubi30 game is FarCry 3: Blood Dragon. It's just awesome and SO 80's.
Origin is giving away Dungeon Keeper as it's on the house game.

RE: RL Anger
So, can someone explain to me why if she won the popular vote, she didn't win?
(I honestly don't get the whole Electoral College thing at all. I think @Thenomain tried to explain it to me once, but I just ended up smiling and nodding and backing away slowly.)

RE: Skyrim Special Edition (also, Mods!)
@Olsson said in Skyrim Special Edition (also, Mods!):
Pick "Camping In The Woods" will start you just outside the cave you exit at the end of the tutorial, with Alduin flying over. It's basically the vanilla start without long ass cutscenes.
Also no spiders, if they bother you.

@Thenomain Don't forget to cover your boobs!

RE: Fanbase entitlement
The level of entitlement and hate for Blizzard for NOT having Vanilla servers is amazing. How dare Blizzard? Even though they had already said there wouldn't be any news about Legacy servers at Blizzcon. How dare they not do what non-paying customers demand of them?!
