This has been going on since 2013. Seems to be a thing on SE's side. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. All you can do is hope the servers are up at the time you want to play it, really.

The only solution seems to be run as administrator.

@HelloRaptor No. It's an old thread and broken so if people subscribed to it early on, even if they left the subscription after, or followed it by posting in it, then it turns up as a little red number on the bell. There's a few others that do it as well.

Well it is ostensibly an ARG so you would give personal information like an email or phone number in a real world one. And when they did the "Preview" of this the company flew someone to Montreal to pick up a package and we talked with them onlie and watched them and figured out puzzles. They will supposedly go as deep as you allow it.

One ARG that recently came to light took money as well, but it was microtransactions.

One of the goals of this company was to "Buy a building in Detroit because it's cheap there right now, as a home office people could come and visit." This was also after calling all of the people who had lifetime subscriptions to The Secret World (A game they bought the right from from Funcom to use Black Watchmen which is set in an alternate but parallel world of the Secret World Game and our own.) Leechers and moochers (when they were being nice) because they were going with the free stuff they offered them. And as I said, it's on the nice end.

But still because it should not be said often enough: Don't pay $40 for an early access game on Steam. In fact, don't buy games early access on Steam Especial Steam Greenlight, unless you don't like money. And really if you just want to throw money away, I will give you my address and put it to good use.

Also it's $40 AND a subscription. Really, if you don't want your money that badly I will take it off your hands, no charge.

Yeah, but people also had a tendency to blow up every little thing into toe ring of doom proportions too, sometimes the paranoia was absolutely justified.

Unless it's free though, no, it's not really worth it. People running it make Mu* people look sane by comparison.. Please do not give these people money.

Also it's Early access. Never $40 for a game in early access.

Seriously, go for men's razors. The only thing you are paying for with a woman's razor is being a woman. Seriously, it's the same damn razor. They make it pink and frufy and call it a woman's razor and charge us more. (At least with Gilette)
