Yeah I do not really see it sticking around for more than 2 seasons, or a season and a half. But it might? It is a Syfy produced show and not done by an outside company.

Gotham post season 2 got really good I think. The last two seasons were better than how it started at least. The new season might see the debut of their version of the Joker but it is also supposed to be the last season of the show, so far things indicate it will not see a season 6 renewal.

Krypton I'm kind of meh about. Like most sci-fi/super shows it is starting slow, and I mean the first two episodes are very slow, but story wise they are taking a bit of time to get started - the actors are settling into the characters, and while some are dedicated to their parts others look bored even during scenes that require a more emotional range. And of course in typical Syfy fashion the budget will get better next season if it survives. Sometimes the show comes off as a spoof, so direction seems to be an issue.

Yeah Inferno SRMs were a wonderful wonderful thing in later editions of battletech, especially after they made the rules changes where a single volley of them could wipe out a whole squad of elementals.

Vehicles were also prone to easy crit kills. It was not uncommon to have a single LRM 5 hit with 3 missiles, score a crit and get the 'crew killed' result. Then you pretty much have a fully armored paperweight.

I thought the original was better than Go! too.

I know a lot of MUers who suffer from migraines. I've been keeping an eye on a medication moving through the FDA process for that and it got approved finally.

They didn't. I heard about this a few months ago and I was dubious that any kind of reboot would not be any good. I'm still dubious even with the trailer. Moreso...the popularity of reboots is a trend I hope dies out soon.

Well it lead me to a correlated link where there was a guy who discussed the Netflix press conference they discussed the series at. So now I know how many episodes Netflix is considering and where the story will fall. So still a win...kinda.

I was dubious about The Witcher coming to tv on Netflix but....this trailer seems like they might have hit the mark....

Yes. But I will not elaborate until its been out long enough that discussing it will not fall into spoiler territory.

Without spoilers....Solo was a bland forgettable movie as a Starwars film. Go see Infinity War again or for the first time instead, or see if Black Panther is at a dollar theater and save some money.

Or Deadpool 2...

It does. I think the first season set up a rivalry pretty well and Daniel was okay for a light weight antagonist but they do need a full on antagonist for Johnny.

I think his role most certainly had less meat to it and I felt it was deliberate since the series presumed that many of the audience already knew Daniel's story.
