I regret that I got wrapped up into the fun that others were seemingly having with FO4. I purchased it and later regretted it. But by the time my regret had set in I was past the ability of being able to refund it. I have uninstalled it and have no intention of touching it again.

I missed the SWBF bullet and what compelled me to avoid the nostalgia bug on that was the picture comparison of the things that Battlefront 2 had in it, compared to the things that BF EA would have in it. And that told me enough right there to know that I would not enjoy the EA'ization of BF. I feel vindicated in that decision. It is a horrible game compared to BF2 which they should have used as their standard.

@Ganymede I am hired as a contractor so I do not get overtime. Just a salary.

I love working from home. I enjoy it and it gets me paid without having to leave the house and deal with people or nature or my anxiety.

But damn my boss needs to learn not to call my phone 15 times two hours after my shift because he thinks something needs to be done 'now.' Because at the point it is his 'now' my attitude is 'not my circus not my monkeys.'

And I do not believe I am wrong in that. But I hate feeling like I am.

Tides of Numenaria is an okay story. The big problem with the game is about 70%of what was promised to come in the kickstarter did not make it in, so if you were following the KS and were hoping for THAT game you're not going to get it.

If you're looking for a decent RPG in the same style of Pillars of Eternity, Baldur's Gate, etc. Then it is not too bad although Tyranny may be a better purchase.

Edit to add that I do not own Tyranny but I got a review copy of it that let me get through part of the first act, when it was just coming out. So I can not give you a decent full comparison.

That does sound like some pretty poor game design to me, that there is no way to prevent that. Is the game going to have further development since it was not so well received? All the people I know into games like that abandoned it after a few days to go back to Dead by Daylight or whatever one that is called.

It was sometimes. The biggest problem I had with Evolve is everyone wanted to be the monster. So if they weren't they would bail on games and then keep rerolling until they were. I think with the updated free to play they put in a punishment system but in the early days it did not have that.

Well, there's also +shop, where you can walk into a crafter's shop, bring the materials—in the case of a sword, for instance, that's four ingots of whatever material—and provide the desc yourself, but get to use the crafter's dice.

Yes I keep being told that. But also I am horrible at desces. It also does not generate RP for the crafter which I think is one of the perks of searching for a smith or tailor or something.

Yeah I could see a set desc or at least an almost similar desc with slight variations per item to say how it integrates into the 'set look'.

So make people desc their own, in shops! that was a key tenet of the shop design.

I try!! People say that, no, they were really hoping for a custom piece that would surprise them. And I do like seeing people happy when they receive them. I need to learn to say "no" better.
