Oh I wasn't even talking bout the wiki. Just the game itself. Why would I worry about them shutting the Wiki down on a new project? I said I enjoyed playing on Kingsmouth, but I was concerned they would end the game suddenly.
Lol you edit alot.
I already madee a playlist thing. Listing char-names. I think I'd only wanna catchup with Dara, Kilaria and co.
We talking about the same game? The server is still up (everythings gone, if the server host wanted it down, why isn't it?), there's no MOTD message with a link for a new game and I've met people on other games since then who said the same thing about it closing abruptly.I was gone for a while, sick but not that long and they agree it came outta nowhere.
If somehow I traveled time, or was in some sort of illness induced coma..I guess I'm wrong then.
The servers even up. They just walked away, deleted everything and said, sorry we're done. But we're making something else we'll tell you about someday...
Lets get back on topic!
Uh, so if I locate this nWoD public core...code. Which of those locations sounds most interesting for a single sphere (probably vamp game)
My go-to's are:
New York
Brazil (beach town)
Phoenix Arizona (A hive of scum and villainy)
Russia (Cause why not?)
Oh...
Well I like it's functionality. It's pretty and I like the input box, it's adjust-ability, the live preview and the over all simplicity in appearance.
But I'm usually wrong about these things..sooooo

Also I have to say, this forum code is ace...
Ahahahaha, where the fuck is @HelloRaptor when you need h--oh, right. XD
Oh shit...what did I do?
Maybe I will...I'm sure I can develop and host a temp version on my home pc to mess with. Though I'm a windows user. So I would ask around uh..the mu code channel...
Also I have to say, this forum code is ace...
Hah. Thanks. I barely have a grip as a player and I don't know coding or have money for hosting. If I had those I'd hop on it. It's not like I don't have the free time.
Reviving an old thread, whatever.
Yay that the staff is working on a new game. I'm excited, but I'm also scared. Kingsmouth closed fast. There really wasn't any warning for people who didn't pop on every day. I got sick for about a week or so, everything seemed fine. Came back and the doors had been slammed shut.
That doesn't leave me with a huge feeling of security regarding this new project. I love what they do, but I don't want to invest the time in it if one day it's just going to be randomly shut down, at least from the players point of view.
I think if you're going to shut a game down you should wind it down and then go out with a bang. Have a earth shattering event. It's less jarring and at least we know it's coming.
A good Dresden mush with simple concise rules or maybe a Dresden mush using a nWoD homebrew.
A nWoD game set in a gritty metropolis like say..New York...
I'd like to see what the Kingsmouth people are doing. Before it randomly and suddenly imploded it was a real awesome place to play. Some of the plots there were super engaging and you could always find people to engage with deeply on more than a 'Social' bar scene or TS scene. It's a shame it just went POOF with no real warning.
A good low power superhero game, but gritty. Probably using Mutants and Masterminds. Heroes that aren't shining glorious beacons but people with problems to go along with their gifts.
A good FALLOUT rpg. Why has this not happened yet? So much material!
A mush style game set in the D&D verses. Or a real good fantasy deep rpg Mush.
If I had the ability, I would set a nWoD single sphere game in New York or some other metropolis. I've always wanted to do another country as well. Brazil or some other South American country, Russia etc.
Arizona would be interesting only because I'm familiar with it. Phoenix and Tucson being the prime location but the north colder parts have smaller towns for easier smaller grids.
