@kk Yes, despite the thread here which gave me some trepidation. I am having a great time at Liberation. Particularly in the Mage sphere.

RE: Your yearly 'Active WOD' request thread.
@alamias I'm looking at liberation, can you elaborate on your experience over there for me a bit? I would greatly appreciate it.

RE: Your yearly 'Active WOD' request thread.
@greenflashlight If I were to run a Mu* I'd place the help file text on a wiki with a directory. I have the time, just not the skill to create/alter a Mu* platform. I ran a godwars based game back in the early 90's but I mean, most the work was already there...But yeah, I always have a struggle with the help/news files.

@pyrephox I haven't dipped into Ares yet. But the lack of anything else might drive me to the platform.

Your yearly 'Active WOD' request thread.
I check in occasionally to see what's active, I think the last time I did was about a year ago.
So what are our options for active WoD games these days? Looking through advertisements it doesn't seem like much is out there anymore.

RE: Shadows of Paradise: help wanted!
Huh, the Beast sounds new and interesting. I think I'll check it out!

RE: San Francisco: Paris of the West
@peasoupling But I expect unpaid volunteer staff to be on top of the ball! Even at the cost of their own personal lives!

I'm not sure about the other spheres, but Approval for Mortal or even someone looking at your character is exceedingly slow. I'm generally alright with a day or two but we're at four days now without even a peep.

Current active WoD and NWoD games?
Seems all those Mu* aggregators are behind on the times, at least the ones I know of.
Anyone wanna throw down a list of the current active White Wolf Mu*s for me...Maybe with a rating of Drama and Admin ego?
I know of Fallcoast and City of Hope right now. I think the Kingsmouth is dead yeah?

RE: City of Splendors: A Forgotten Realms Adventure
I like the way they went with Paladins. Paladins are no longer the "I have to leave the room while my companions interrogate this evil do-er because of my ridiculously strict morality". You can be if you want. Evil paladins still don't really exist unless you're an Oathbreaker, almost all the Paladins still exist on the spectrum of good, but just like the gods you might follow, not everyone is strictly LAWFUL GOOD, you can have a neutral good character who does what he believes is right. As long as you obey your gods rules, and don't go around as a murder hobo, you'll still be in the right. It gives Paladins more flexibility, less rigidity. Mystra isn't Lawful Good, Neither is Lathander, both the classic examples of good gods. So why should Paladins have to be?

RE: Podcasts
Hello From the Magic Tavern - Improv from the Land of Foon with Arnie a human who fell through a mystical portal behind a Burger King in Chicago, Chunt the talking badger and Eusador the blue wizard.
We Hate Movies - They talk about bad movies in a funny way!
How did This get made - A far more popular podcast that chats about bad movies with celebrities!
OneShotRpg/Campaign - Campaign is a actual play star wars podcast about the crew of the Mynoch, good stuff. OneShot is their one shot podcast where they try out a new game each episode.
Spontanianation - Improve with Paul F. Tompkins and guests.
Critical Hit - Older D&D podcast, early stuff is what got me into Actual play podcasts
The Adventure Zone - McElroy brothers and father play D&D, also good stuff.

RE: Interest Check: Single Sphere VtR Game
@Arkandel I know what my next concept will be.

RE: Interest Check: Single Sphere VtR Game
@Thenomain I dunno Lovecraft has pretty much been super popular in counter-culture groups since I was a kid.
-
RE: Interest Check: Single Sphere VtR Game
@Lisse24 It's not anymore, and definately not 'thething everywhere'.
-
RE: Interest Check: Single Sphere VtR Game
@tragedyjones It was the comment of it being 'the thing' everywhere that suggested otherwise to me.
-
RE: Interest Check: Single Sphere VtR Game
@tragedyjones It's an unknowable, alien entity controlling the world through occult machinations. I'm pretty sure that's what Lisse was referring too.
